Palaaram Restaurant, Kadavanthara - A Culinary Delight
Palaaram Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Kadavanthara, is a standout gem for food lovers seeking an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you step in, the restaurant exudes a warm and inviting ambience that perfectly complements its impressive menu.
What truly elevates the experience at Palaaram is the personalized touch from the owner, Hima. During our visit, she was present and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best dining experience possible, offering expert recommendations and helping us choose from their array of mouth-watering dishes. Her genuine passion for food is evident in every aspect of the restaurant.
Each dish we tried was a masterpiece in its own right, showcasing bold flavors and impeccable preparation. Duck Roast was a particular standout—perfectly tender and richly spiced, it was an explosion of flavors with every bite. Another unforgettable dish was the Pathiri in Coconut Milk, a delicately aromatic and comforting dish that beautifully combined the richness of coconut with the softness of Pathiri.
For seafood lovers, the Prawns Theepori was nothing short of spectacular—crispy, spicy, and packed with flavor. Additionally, the Kunjipattiri and beef items were executed perfectly, offering a delightful combination of textures and robust flavors that left us wanting more.
Palaaram is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. The service, the atmosphere, and the thoughtfully crafted menu combine to create a destination that’s not to be missed. Whether you're a fan of authentic Kerala cuisine or just looking for a fresh take on old favorites, this place is sure to impress.

Read moreI'm very disappointed with this restaurant for many reasons. This was my first time visiting this restaurant, I was famished and I came here seeing the ratings. My friend and I got here, washed our hands and sat on a table. It was noon so the restaurant was not that busy. We sat there for almost 15 minutes without anyone attending us. You'd expect a better service from such a so-called premium place. After about 15 minutes we even thought about leaving without eating a thing but then someone came with a menu card and so we looked at the menu and ordered a Half Alfam. This is where our second disappointment comes. After 15 minutes since ordering the food, our joke of an Alfam came. Ridiculously small portions which can barely satisfy a toddler. Do we look like fools to you? The quantity of the Half Alfam was barely the quantity of a Quarter Alfam at plenty of places for a better price. The worst part about this order is that you are serving chapathi with Alfam. Although the Alfam was delicious, it doesn't take away from the fact that the establishment is a profit hungry spot who doesn't care about their customers. Is money a joke to people? The joke of a portion left us starving and also cautious to not order anything further from here. The third disappointment is the price, rs 384 was the price on the Menu and these people put on additional GST charges on top of this to make the total rs. 403. I don't mind paying money, but what I can't tolerate is the food not being worth the money. I'd love to let the owners know that maybe for them this might be just business but, people's hard earned money is not a joke. I really don't wanna visit here again but at least for the new customers please make changes and...
Read moreOmg! What should I say. You guys are just extra ordinary. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋😋😋😋
This was my third experience with your restaurant (the Kakkanad one). On that first day, I had no idea what to order, so I asked your staff, which one is your most moving item. They said "Kunjipathiri with beef". I ordered it and omg, it was yummy like hell. 🥰🥰🥰
And since I go out and eat only once in a while, I've this habbit of craving for that one best dish I ordered with a restaurant. So, on an another day, when I craved for it, I suddenly ordered the same thing via Swiggy and had it at home.
Same way, this time also, when I reached there, when everyone was looking into the menu, I had nothing to check for. I had already decided what I'm gonna order. I sat there and blindly ordered the same thing. 😆😋But this time, we were 7 people in total with me. Two of them were my friends M's friends, who were in Kerala for the first time. They wanted to try authentic Keralite dishes. And, everybody ordered a different different dish. So got to eat many things.
And we loved them all..♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Here's a list of all that we ate : Kunjipathiri with beef (obviously) Chemmeen pori choru Irachi choru Kozhi pidi Chemmeen pollichathu Chemmeen dry fry Duck roast Chappathi etc.
Desserts : Brownie with icecream
Drinks : Passion fruit drink Narunandi (herbal taste)
I loved all of them, except Kozhi pidi, since it didn't reach my expectations of childhood food memories. All the rest were extra ordinary. I can't stop myself from saying all this to the public. Omg 😍😍🤤🤤
And another best part is.. just all of them, for 7 people, in just 3000...
