I would like to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had at a restaurant named Thaal in Edappally. The place is extremely unhygienic. I noticed that they were using old, reused oil for cooking, which is not only unhealthy but also dangerous for consumption. What shocked me more was that they didn’t even bother to open or cut the food packets properly—they just directly put the unopened packets into the hot oil in the kadai. This clearly shows a lack of basic food safety practices.
The service was equally poor. The staff appeared careless and unprofessional. They were not attentive to the customers and seemed to be more focused on rushing orders rather than providing quality service. Hygiene and cleanliness were clearly not their concern; they seemed to care only about making profits.
As a concerned customer who values health and food safety, I kindly request everyone to avoid eating from Thaal in Edappally until they take serious action to improve their hygiene and service standards. Eating food from such places can put your health at risk. Please be cautious and prioritize your well-being.

I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. First and foremost, the pricing is outrageously high for what they offer. I expected at least decent quality for the amount I paid, but instead, I got small portions of food, minimal amenities, and an overall lackluster experience.
The biggest issue, however, was the terrible customer service. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and seemed completely disinterested in assisting guests. Any request felt like a burden to them, and they lacked even basic hospitality skills.
For the price they charge, I expected a premium experience, but instead, I got poor service, low quantity offerings, and a frustrating stay. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and...
Read moreThe Alfam at Thaal Restaurant in Edappally offers a decent dining experience. The chicken alfam is well-cooked, with a good blend of spices and a nice smoky flavor. The chicken is tender, though sometimes it might lack a bit of juiciness. The portion size is reasonable for the price, making it a fair choice for those on a budget.
While the taste is enjoyable, it might not be the most exceptional alfam in the area, but it’s a solid option for a quick and satisfying meal. The ambiance of Thaal is comfortable, and the service is generally friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours.
Overall, if you’re looking for an okay alfam meal in Edappally, Thaal is a decent choice that delivers good flavor at a...
