College Street Kitchen — Restaurant in Kolkata

Today, I will talk about one of the best restaurants on College Street, the College Street Kitchen. You can find it very easily. It is exactly opposite Calcutta Medical College Gate No 1. The restaurant is very cost-effective. The ambience at this price point is pretty freaking good. I ordered Butter Tandoori Roti (Rs. 30/piece) and Chicken Tikka Masala (Rs. 260 for 5 pieces of chicken). It was just amazing. Chicken Tikka Masala is the signature dish of this restaurant. If you ever come to this place and don't try this Chicken Tikka Masala then it is considered that you have never visited this place (যদি তুমি কলেজ স্ট্রিট কিচেনে এসে চিকেন টিক্কা মাসালা ট্রাই না করো, তাহলে তুমি কলেজ স্ট্রিট কিচেনে আসোইনি 😂😂😂). Please please please try this. My other friends took Biriyani. Chicken Biriyani costs Rs. 180 and Mutton Biriyani costs Rs. 220. The amount and taste are pretty good and most importantly there is Aalu(Potato). You all know that Aalu is very important in Kolkata Biriyani. But the sad part is there is no Egg. I took Chicken Chowmein home, that was pretty average. As a whole, I'll say it is a very fantastic experience visiting this restaurant. I would surely recommend you to visit this place. One small suggestion would be to book a table one day before going there. I am rating College Street Kitchen 4/5 stars because the prices are somewhat fair. I ate fried rice over there and my friends ate biriyani. We did enjoy the food. The downside was they make horrible, literally horrible Cold Coffee. My friends couldn't even finish it, it was awful.

Pros:

Great place just beside the Famous Basanta Kebin. Food quality is really very good. We go there for lunch, there is various lunch option and food quality is really awesome.
