The food was okay-ish. Took a risk of trying something new and was disappointed. I've heard people saying the place is good thus I went. But maybe it's the choice of risk or maybe a bad day. Tried Pan fried chicken noodles where noodles were less and Veggies were overflooding. Then there was seafood pizza with fish and prawns. The cheese pull was satisfying but the taste wasn't up to my liking. Other people may like it. No offence!! The person who served me and my friend just suddenly took away the noodle bowl even though it was not finished and did not care to ask if we were done eating. The food that we tried was absolutely pricier than it should have been.
Must mention: The wall art was cool and the place looked cozy. Also the menu card design idea is appreciable.
Update 11/01/24: Visited this place again and writing the experience here as the option for writing a separate review is not here.
I went there and tried many different dishes with friends:
🍜Chicken Schezwan noodles (spicy of course and didn't taste that good)
🍜Chicken Singapore noodles (this was kinda good. Had a different taste)
🍚Chicken moonfun rice (one of the best among all the foods that we had there. Not too spicy, not too bland. The perfect one)
🐑Roasted lamb (half gravy so it was quite delicious)
🍤Prawn Kung pao (I've always liked the Kung pao so we played it safe here and it turned out delicious)
🍤🍚Prawn Singapore fried rice (this was a lot spicy than I imagined. Somehow finished it thanks to friends)
🍝Spaghetti Bolognese (this dish made me decide to go there and try other Italian foods also. Because this was just amazing. This was the best among all or I may say this and moonfun)
🍨Brownie with Ice Cream (we've chosen chocolate and vanilla ice cream separately. This isn't the best brownie but serves the purpose of having something sweet after all those...
Read more'Food Station' is very famous and popular for it's multi cuisine.Yesterday I had visited their College Street branch which is located just opposite Medical College and few minutes walking distance from college Square and Calcutta University - College Street Campus. • It is a perfect and most beautiful place for student to hangout with their friends as well as spend quality time with your beloved one. Also you have spent quality time with your family. • Ambience of this place is very nice with beautiful wooden structures and chair tables. The decor and the light structure is so good. The charming music which had played on background was so audible. • This outlet is spacious and they have comfortable seating arrangement in two floors which is enough of more or less 50 people at once. • I have tried Dragon Chicken along with Butter Naan. The teste of the foods were just spell bound. Specially Dragon Chicken was yummylicious. It had 8 piece of Chicken which were so soft, flavourful and infused with spices. Must try this. • Butter naan was also superb. Each butter nan was so large in size and it served with 2 pieces. It was so soft and so tasty. • They also have variety menu for North Indian, Chinese, Continental, South Indian, fast food and kabab. • Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Service is fast and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item. Prices are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food. • I had a great experience here. The food of this place is good. Do order or visit there to have a nice food at pocket...
Read moreI gave this outlet 5 only for a reason, which I'd like to explain. A couple of years back I went to Food Station (College St.) with one of my friends. We ordered chicken lollipop as starter along with fried rice & a side dish. While having lollipop we smelled something odd....probably the coating was not good. However, we finished the plate. When a waiter came to serve the main course, we informed him about our experience with lollipop. Few minutes later, the waiter came with few more pieces of freshly prepared lollipop. But again it tasted bad, just like before. We also informed that to the cook. He apologized. He admitted there might be a problem with the coating. Finally, they did not include the price of the lollipop in our bill. We were really felt happy and pleased for such polite and good gesture to customers. Most of the restaurants in reality just deny and overlook the customer's negative feedback. As a customer I appreciate their etiquette. Thank you very much and keep it up. I recommend all of you to visit this restaurant....
