Really an underrated gem in Kolkata. Hands down one of the best pubs I’ve visited in Kolkata! The ambience is chic yet cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were exceptional—crafted with so much creativity that each sip felt like an experience in itself. They had great local flavours like Nahoum's christams cake or Gobindobhog and ghee infused drinks which were crazy good!!! The staff deserves a special mention for their warmth and attentiveness. They not only recommended some fantastic cocktails but also surprised us with a refreshing welcome drink as soon as we arrived. To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary tiramisu on the house, which made our evening truly unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Little Bit Sober for such a delightful experience—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this gem to everyone!

Cocktails that use local ingredients (read: Darjeeling tea, jharna ghee, gondhoraj lebu, kasundi) to create delicious drinks with layered flavor profiles that are a pleasure for the senses. Finger lickin' tapas-style food that doesn't overshadow the cocktails, which really are the front and centre of LBS. Helpful and knowledgeable staff who believe their bartenders are artists (our table was served by Shivam, who was ready to answer all our ingredient related queries and quick to refill our drinks). To top it all off, an ambience that transports one into a 1920s style speakeasy in a heritage building with a gorgeous terrace. With a competitive price point , Little bit sober, with its quirky neon signs, tons of atmosphere and a promise to deliver the most inventive cocktails in Calcutta, is just the place you've been waiting for.

ad a fantastic experience at Little Bit Sober! The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between vibrant and cozy, making it an ideal place to unwind. The food was delicious, with a great mix of flavors, and the cocktails were expertly crafted. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed evening with friends or a lively night out, this place has it all. Highly recommend! ever, while the place is quite happening, the DJ arrangement could use some improvement. The dance floor in front of the DJ is just okay, but the music selection feels outdated and lacks the energy needed to keep the crowd engaged. Updating the playlist with more trendy and upbeat tracks could significantly enhance the vibe. Definitely a lot of scope to improve on this front!

ITS RESERVATION ONLY. Especially on weekends. I'm telling you do not walk in cause they will accept you and then try to kick you out or move you to the bar. They want to treat it like a speakeasy without knowing exactly how to. Apparently reservations are to be made through Instagram

It was my first time visiting here. Food is decent, cocktails are great. Kudos for that. The only thing that stops me from going back there was the experience I'm about to share with you here. Four of us friends picked out this place to go get some cocktails. Tried making a reservation but sadly they didn't provide any contact details on google listings, zomato, dineout etc. We decided to walk in. I was the first to get there. They greated me well and provided me with a table of four. As I was having my first drink a staff came up to me who mentioned the two tables next to me are reserved including mine from 9pm onwards. It was 7 pm at the time. I told them to provide me with another table, they said they'll move me to another table when their guests come in. I gladly agreed. This whole conversation was had again with another member of staff. By 7:30 pm all four friends were ordering our first round of drinks n food. Cut to 8:10pm when we are planning to go for a second round of drinks a staff member comes up and asks us to move to the bar. We asked them to show us another table since we were planning to be there till 9. He goes onto say every table is reserved here ( meanwhile the only guests in the whole place are this couple at the bar n two other gentlemen on the next table, rest of the whole place being empty ) we requested them for a table till 9 cause that's what we agreed on. To this they sent more staff to argue. The staff’s exact words were, ‘’ this is not a restaurant, it's a cocktail bar we can't give you a table without reservation, you could sit at the bar or head out.’’ He went on arguing with utmost disrespect because we said that they need to better their management. I've never had such a brilliant evening be ruined such petty behaviour. Please make your reservations on IG cause apparently that's how it works now or brace yourselves for a...

Came here on a Saturday night and it was sparsely crowded. It did start filling up after 7 though. I wouldn't call it a speakeasy because it is too easily discoverable and the interiors are big with upbeat music. The lighting is great and so is the seating. The servers are really polite. They have an outdoor space as well, for smoking. A DJ started playing after 8; one of the servers told me they have live bands on Thursdays and Fridays. I loved the varied seating, they have kept all group sizes in mind. I tried their signature cocktails: Are You In Cal, I've never had Alpenliebe washed vodka before, but it went well with caramel, coffee and spiced milk liqueur; Hello Stranger, Matcha went fantastic with coconut milk and Japanese whiskey, especially the Matcha wafer; Friday, 7 PM, gondhoraj was matched cleverly with gin and vermouth; For Old Times Sake, gin and amaro go well especially when sesame and coconut oil are involved; Dude, Put Your Shirt On, I've never had scotch paired with Kulfi, but the subtlety paid off; The Stage Is Set, sake, red cabbage tequila, aloe vera and olive brine is a mixture I've never had before, was a bit salty for my taste but not bad; Pop Goes The Daisy, coriander oil and gherkin aren't usual ingredients for a cocktail but with tequila they went really well. I loved the way they had presented their cocktail menu, each item had a small backstory leading up to its name. We tried the small plates as well: Silk Road Seekh, Stir Fried Crispy Hunan Chicken, Spicy Chicken and Leek; they were all pretty good. We finished up with the Dark Chocolate Tart and it was simply delicious. The prices are quite high but that's to be expected from a place like this. I would highly recommend this place. Needless to say, we were just a little bit sober...

The thing is I was actually having a great time here initially, the food was fine, cocktails were amazing but was really disappointed with the service. I have no complaints from the waiting staff.. the guy who was serving us was sweet and gave great recommendations..however the manager is super rude and the overall administration seems to not care about walk in customers...we were made to leave our table and we're asked to sit at the bar while the bar was practically empty..and to top that the PR representative or manager, whoever that was speaking to us had quite the elitist tone, explaining how exclusive the place was and how it's not a restaurant but a cocktail bar. I mean this wasn't the first time that my friends and I were visiting visiting a cocktail bar, it's not that we have a problem with you guys even pulling terms to seem unique, but that's just marketing. It sucks how with this psuedo sense of uniqueness, entitled, rude behaviour follows. If this is a reservations only space, please mention so in all listings sites and social media platforms. Also, please provide proper phone numbers that work to make these reservations. Seating your guests and then treating them unkindly is such a failure. You guys literally ruined my friend's birthday celebration. This experience will remain very...
