Nirvana — Restaurant in Kolkata

"Nirvana", as the name suggests, is an ideal place for a solo or serene and romantic dine-out. The restaurant is located in one of the luxury hotels of Kolkata, i.e. Radisson Kolkata, Ballygunge. We ordered, *Popiah Jeh: Exotic and crispy vegetables tossed in hot and sweet sauce. The vegetables were crispy and flavorful. While waiting for our subsequent dish to arrive, we were served an unusual and chatpata (salty and spicy) Aloo chaat. I believe, our table attendant prepared the dish especially for us. The Aloo Chaat was not too spicy nor too sour. The potatoes were soft and made with accurate spices. *Gamberoni Peperoza: While looking for some good shrimp dish, the staff proposed this preparation to us. The platter had big lobsters, some sauteed vegetables, mashed potato and bread. The Lobsters were huge and moist and the vegetables were fresh and well-seasoned.
