Prince Restaurant in Esplanade, Kolkata, offers a classic Bengali dining experience that consistently delivers on taste and quality. The food here is genuinely delicious and well-prepared, truly capturing the essence of authentic Bengali cuisine. Their fish items, in particular, are a standout – fresh, expertly cooked, and incredibly flavorful, making them a highlight for any seafood enthusiast. The staff at Prince Restaurant are commendable; they are attentive, courteous, and contribute significantly to a pleasant dining atmosphere. Their efficient service ensures a smooth and enjoyable meal, making you feel well-cared for. While the food is undoubtedly tasty, it's worth noting that some dishes can be a bit on the pricier side. However, the quality of ingredients and the authentic flavors often justify the cost, especially for their specialty fish preparations. Despite being a bit pricy for certain items, the overall experience at Prince Restaurant remains highly positive due to the consistent deliciousness of their food and the good service. It's a reliable choice for a satisfying Bengali meal in the heart of Kolkata, offering a taste of tradition in a well-established setting.

I've never been to Bangladesh but I really wanted to. Fortunately, I visited this restaurant and they gave me a food tour of Bangladesh just for Rs.667. I don't have much knowledge about the authenticity of Bangladeshi food but the Bangladeshi tourist crowd present here proves their genuinely. Simple neat and clean ac dining, suitable for family as well, behaviour of the staffs was good. Ordered below dishes. Fish Bharta @ Rs.60 (5/5) Aier Fish @ Rs.150 (4/5) Murag Pulao @ Rs.200 (4/5) Mutton Curry @ Rs.200 (3/5) Fish Bharta that tasted like scrambled eggs with the punch of green chili along with steam rice was fabulous. Aier fish was fresh and big size. Murgh Pulao was very light with one big chicken piece. Mutton curry tasted like fish gravy. Every dish had its distinct flavours, very light on stomach, tasted fresh and good. Prices were well justified. Overall if you're fond Bengali food then you must try Bangladeshi cuisine here. Rice with Fish Bharta and Murag Pulao is highly recommended.

Whenever I visit Kolkata I always prefer to have food from here , environment, service , food quality , quantity are so satisfying, price is high but yet prince restaurant is my first priority, Recommend their Rui fish vaja, Alu jhuri vaja, mutton. For breakfast, lunch , dinner they have almost all the items , this place is always crowded, have Air conditioned system, if you want you can take parcel from there , they don’t have any meat items , place is very fresh , two stored restaurant but in second floor they don’t have much sitting capacity it would be better if you seat in the first ground floor it was very good experience of mine with them . Mornings kichuri was amazing there was a lots of vegetables and the quantity was more than enough for one person and the price was o my 100 rupees , but I don’t like their morog polaw much it was too normal . Overall great experience.
