Read moreThe interior and decor of Soba Sassy was insta-worthy no doubt, but it's the experience that makes all the difference. The experience at Soba Sassy was not at all good. The staff lacks basic courtesy. Firstly, talking from the price point view, the food was overpriced. We ordered mocktails, one appetizer- Japanese chicken fry. We also ordered sushi ( Crabstick sushi, Sumo sushi) each worth around Rs. 600 and above, and we were served only 4 pieces for each item. It was tasty no doubt, but the quantity was not worth the price. When we were checking the final bill, we found that they had added the price of Philadelphia sushi, which was an even more expensive sushi, which we hadn't ordered in the first place. When we asked the waiter, he firstly said that the prices were the same (which was untrue after he rechecked the menu), and then he even accused us that we had placed the order for Philadelphia sushi ( which was again a lie)! How can a staff have the audacity to speak like that, instead of owning up their mistake? Anyway, they made a fresh bill after all this and we did the payment. I wouldn't recommended this place to anyone where the staff try to cheat their customers. In the city like Kolkata we have many places to visit which serve good food, ambience and above all, their...
