The Myx, Kolkata, Park Street Area — Restaurant in Kolkata

On 5 August 2017 have been to myx for the first time, we group of friends went towards open terrace section, didn't like the terrace space it's too small nd too much clumsy, everywhere chairs and table crowded. Then came downstair , that was the looby area of Myx . Didn't like that place as well not even their actual Myx disc section . It's more then clumsy Nd down standard. Experience was horrible, we were group of friends and paid nearly more the 25k but honestly it's not worth it and top of it staff services from reception to management are worst . After 12 I went down just for few minutes for something very urgent when came back after 5 mins then they aren't allowing me to go and when I told them I m the host of my group and I had to pay the bill and all then one of them accompanied me to the lobby area and the way the staff were behaving as if I would slip into their myx section and when I went to lobby area the staff were standing in our faces with rudeness. Then we left within 5 mins then came to Aqua ,The park . My advice to the Myx and OTT Staff Nd Management, guys grow up , no one is dying to go to ur place , there is nothing so special about the place, there are much much better pubs, Bars and disco . It was my worst and wrong decision to come at ur place and spending 25k . Promise would never visit again, even if someone pays me to visit ur place . Then also . U all don't know what is hospitality to ur customer. My wish u all will surely see a day when no one will go to ur place Nd u all guys stay happy that too empty with pubs ,bar and disco. Still I hope God bless u guys and hope to ease ur mentality. The place and everything sucks from where I stand and...

Seemed more like a stuffed bachelor pad than a pub. There are 1 BHK apartments in the city more spacious and more party-friendly than this hotbox wastage of space upon the prime-most real estate location in the city. The severely high volume of bass is not for the faint-hearted, literally! My entire group frankly scrammed out of this Nazi-style gas chamber within couple of minutes of entering the venue, all huffing, puffing and sweating out! Ventilation who...? Frequented by mostly those who're upto no good, listening to Bollywood crap...

I guess Kolkatan/Bong/Bihari diaspora do not even have an iota of what a good watering hole should feel like where one can just sit back n unwind, no wonder those who go to the true Metro cities like Bengaluru or Mumbai or Hyderabad or Pune from this part of the country seldom return to this hellhole. Won't be surprised if one of these holes in the walls across the entire Park Street area come in the news headlines for disastrous infernos one of these days (especially given this city's flawless track record of religiously keeping its fire stations busy...

I often used to visit Myx, apparently last night the gate manager told us that it's only allowed for members! Huh, give me a break,in the promotional post (Red bull- night out), they never mentioned that 'it's applicable only for members' more over we were invited by RED BULL. The membership procedure was not there previously when I last visited. Also We friends were having decent dressed up, so surely cannot arise a question of so-called Profile. Now my question to the authority of The MYX, what the reasons for being biased and showing such a hypocrisy! Is that a call against racism or are we threatening to be anti-social.?? Some of my colleagues were allowed to enter without being member at that very precise moment! Such a humiliation never faced. I will make sure none of my friends, colleagues from my Organization would visit this place ever. Will make sure to go...
