AB's - Absolute Barbecues | Hinjawadi, Pune — Restaurant in Maharashtra

This review is just a glimpse of the Baap of all the Barbecue serving restaurant! Absolute Barbecue is just a 5 Days old, first ever outlet in #Pune it is located just opposite Natural's Ice-Cream Parlour on the Hinjewadi Road on 2nd Floor in a Commercial Complex.

We reached this place almost by 7:45pm and to our surprise it was jam full. The staff guided us to our table for the evening. One of the smiling faced staff Gopal introduced himself and he said he is incharge for the table.

As we started with some Grills & Starters (6 Veg 6 Non Veg) every starter was perfectly cooked and there was no scope of complaint.

Next we tried some live counter or they call it a Wish grill counter. There are 4 steps to get your wishes come true. We have to choose the toppings from the spread tossed it with your choice of Sauce line up along with Rice or Noodles of your choice. Everything will be tossed and cooked on a huge Pan/Tawa, in the mean time you can watch your dish getting ready or you will be given a token and it will be served on your table. Adjoining to this they have the Chaat Counter as well.

Mains have a very good spread (6 Vegetarian 4 non-vegetarian) plus Biryani and steam rice. Served with AB's Special Dal. They had soups & salad counters as well.

For the sweet tooth they had 7 types of Desserts. Each and every Desserts was superb. बनारसी पान flavour Ice-Cream is a must have. If you don't like it too sweet, then you can ask the server to add little less गुलकंद to it. Ghewar with Rabadi and the hot mini Gulab Jamun was really exceptional. Even after having this desi sweets we tried our spoons on some Hot Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream which turned out to be our favorite as the brownie was not at all that sweet. #MustHave

Overall it was fun filled and tummy filling experience. The staff is courteous, happy to help and open to feedback.

For long time I have been craving for Barbecue and and decided to visit AB'S Absolute barbecues. The zomato rating was exceptional and with lots of positive reviews so that was comforting. Called the number for booking and reserved for 2.30 pm lunch. Its located on 2nd floor in building with multiple restaurants. Upon reaching 15 min earlier given seats immediately. Chose non veg bbq at 715 rs all inclusive. A hot grill was placed between table.

Ambience : classic wooden tables and comfortable chairs from 2 person to 20 person. Also have outside sitting area for evening. Even for lunchtime on weekdays it was quite full. Lots of parties team lunches birthdays being celebrated with joyful clapping and music.

Food: Veg starters:kesari paneer tikka, tarheel mushrooms, American cheesy stuffed potatoes, veg cutlet and crispy fried corn. Also some grilled pineapple and watermelon. Crispy corn was standout and ended up ordering many times.

Non veg starters: prawns chilli and garlic, bbq fish, jerk chicken, tangdi kebab, seekh kebab.

All starters were good especially prawns.

They have wish grill where exotic veg and meats were made to order. Tried emu meat squid and octopus.

I was so full with starters didnt tried much of main course though there is variety of veg and non veg.

Deserts:plenty desert including wish station fir a stone ice-cream of your choice. Tried phirni amrakhand and butterscotch pudding and chocolate pastry. In stone ice-cream trie chconut flavor. Its very good.
