I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thikana Restaurant & Bar, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a pleasant ambiance.
The first thing that caught my attention was the beautifully decorated interior. The restaurant had a modern yet cozy feel to it, with comfortable seating arrangements and soft lighting. It created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or an evening out with friends.
Now, let's talk about the food. Thikana Restaurant & Bar offers a diverse menu with a wide range of dishes. From traditional Indian cuisine to international delicacies, there is something to satisfy every palate. I opted for their signature Butter Chicken and it was absolutely fantastic. The chicken was tender and succulent, and the rich, creamy gravy was bursting with flavors. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant fully satisfied.
The staff at Thikana Restaurant & Bar were incredibly attentive and friendly. They were well-versed in the menu and offered excellent recommendations. The service was prompt, and my food arrived at the table in a timely manner. Additionally, the staff made sure that all COVID-19 safety protocols were followed, which made me feel comfortable and secure throughout my dining experience.
Thikana Restaurant & Bar also houses a well-stocked bar with an impressive selection of cocktails and spirits. The bartenders were skilled and knowledgeable, creating delicious concoctions that perfectly complemented my meal. Whether you are a fan of classic cocktails or prefer something more unique, their bar menu is sure to satisfy all your cravings.
In conclusion, Thikana Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem in the culinary scene. It offers a delightful dining experience with delectable food, a welcoming ambiance, and exceptional service. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend giving Thikana Restaurant &...
Read moreI recently attended a corporate party at Thikana with a group of 20+ people, and unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. The management was poorly organized and unresponsive to our needs. Starters were served without the accompanying side dishes or chutneys, they brought it after we finished starters and basic necessities like water bottles had to be requested multiple times before they arrived. Even essential items like veg salad were delayed, and when I brought this up with the manager, he argued instead of addressing the issue or apologizing.
The overall service lacked professionalism, and the sequence of serving food was completely off, showing a basic failure in management. The food quality was also subpar. Gajar ka halwa was salty instead of sweet, gulab jamun tasted of old oil, and the cheese balls were not properly cooked. On the bright side, the dal tadka was decent, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about the food.
The DJ was another letdown. His song selection was poor, and he would drop the beats at the wrong moments, killing the mood on the dance floor. The ambience was far from a nightclub vibe, with overly bright lights that ruined the atmosphere. To top it all off, despite paying a significant amount per head for the event, we were charged separately for parking, which was frustrating.
Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this venue for corporate parties or any special occasions. Thikana really needs to work on its management, service, and overall...
Read moreI must say this place serves really good food but with bad experience. kudos to the chef though. The incident started after we entered the restaurant. We had booked a table for 8 people and we sat on the table of 8 reserved for us. Unfortunately 2 of the 8 people were not able to come and we were 6 people sitting on a table of 8. We really liked the table location as it was not at the corner or at the end of the roof top. And here starts a conflict with the staff. They asked us to move to a table of 6 which was at the end of the roof top (roadside facing) and we denied going over there. The staff rude behaviour starts and they said that they will not take any order from us unless we move and even refused to serve water to us. Later they gave us water and we had a discussion with other staff members and it's manager. The staff said the table can be used for 8 people and as we were 6 we agreed to them and moved to a 6 people ka table. Later on this table was not used by 8 people but they split that table and used it for 2-3 bookings and we understood that the place is only doing business and least bothered on how the customer feels. I was really astonished by this unprofessional and rude behaviour by one of the staff member. So this place is where you will not be considered as per the quote "customer is king" who actually is the driver of the business. I would never go to this...
