I've always had Agapae on my list of places to visit & I've ordered home but it was not only till when @benwankhar told me that I was missing out for not having tried their Barley Soup that I made it a point that I should make a visit.

So today after church service, I stepped in this small little cute eatery which was packed.

I took a seat & ordered the Beef Barley Soup. To my utter disappointment, they didn't have it. So I decided on the Beef Dhanthuk, which is a cold noodle dish from Tibet. I requested them to cut down on the chillies. The good thing of eating at a place is that you get to request them to make the food as per your preferences. And well just to be on the safer side, I ordered an Iced Tea as well.

I don't usually like cold food but it was a warm day. The food didn't take time to arrive. It came in a decent sized bowl. It had wok tossed noodles with a layer of fresh cabbage & carrot strands & spring onions on top & a portion of what looked to be stir fried beef cut into small little pieces.

I took a bite. The noodles were not as cold as I expected, just tepid. They were a little bland but complimented the spicy beef very well. The beef was very tender. However a few pieces were a little stringy but then that's just my dental issues making a fuss. The cabbage carrot & spring onions added texture & a hint of sweetness came from the carrots. This was a highly enjoyable meal. However having said that, the Iced tea failed to cool me down in the hot weather .

Overall this place lived up to my expectations.

Great food!

The place is a small joint on a narrow residential road but very popular due to the super tasty food they serve. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. It has only a few seats. Home delivery guys were coming all the time.

We had Korean rice bowls with pork and chicken and 1 prawn and 1 chicken dish along with it. All of the food were super great. It was authentic and tasty.

The staff were cordial and helpful.

The place close at 8:40pm as confirmed by 1 of the staff members, but they made an exception for us, we had reached there slightly past this time. We were allowed to sit and eat there still.

Visited for the first time and I love the the order I placed. I was out during the late afternoon and was looking for a quick bite, stopped at this place and had a wonderful and good brunch. I ordered Pork Korean Bowl and specifically told the staff to place my order and serve it a little quicker since I was in a rush. I thought it will take the usual timing other places usually take but they served it within a few minutes even though they had several orders. I appreciate the quick service and the good food the staff prepared. I hope to get the same service on my next visit....
