If you're a foreigner, do yourself a favor and come eat at that restaurant. This is one of the oldest ones in Mumbai, it serves delicious traditional Southern and Northern Indian food. A lot of locals come eat there, so it can be very crowded. In our case, we got lucky and only had to wait for about 5min, but the waiting time can easily reach 30min-1h. Note that all the other well-rated restaurants will most likely also be full. However, this is 100% worth the wait: the food was some of the best we had in India, at a very affordable price. We ordered Butter masala dosa, vada sambar, idli vada sambar and filter coffee. Butter Masala Dosa - Crispy dosa with potato bhaji filling. It's tasty and mouthwatering. Vada/idli vada sambar - they served it separately with chatni and sambar. Sambar is delicious 😋😋😋 Everything was freshly made and hot served. Must try their authentic filter coffee, it's refreshing!

Read moreExtremely over priced.. ambiance is like local restaurants infront of railway station or busstand..tea cost 65rs...price can be understood and can be given if taste is good..but this was the worst south indian food I ever had, specially rasam rice and sambar rice... chutney and sambar are served in tiny disproportionate bowel , making it more difficult to eat this tasteless food..and not to mention, manager and staff is very arrogant, treating ppl as if we are begger and asking food for free..wish I could give zero start..but Google has not made that...
