Amar Juice & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

During my recent visit to Amar Juice and Restaurant with my father, we had the opportunity to indulge in a satisfying dining experience.

The warm and courteous staff greeted us upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the start. The cozy interior and well-designed decor added to the pleasant ambiance, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal.

While perusing the menu, we engaged in a conversation with the manager, who provided helpful suggestions for our selection. Their attentive and accommodating nature was truly appreciated.

For our meal, my father opted for the flavorsome Masala Dosa, which was presented beautifully. Although the taste was satisfactory, it didn’t quite surpass his expectations. As for me, I chose the Special Dragon Noodles, which had a balanced level of saltiness and spice. However, we were both disappointed with the buttermilk we ordered alongside our meal. It was excessively salty, affecting the overall enjoyment.

Throughout our dining experience, the staff remained attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met. However, the excessively salty buttermilk was a noticeable flaw in an otherwise pleasant experience.

While there were positive aspects to our visit, I believe there are areas that could benefit from improvement. Clear signage for the AC room and closer attention to table cleanliness would enhance the overall dining environment. Additionally, addressing the issue with the salty buttermilk would contribute to a more enjoyable dining experience for future patrons.

In conclusion, Amar Juice and Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with its welcoming ambiance, attentive staff, and flavorful dishes. Although we were disappointed with the excessively salty buttermilk, I appreciate the efforts made to create a satisfying visit. Located right outside the Borivali railway station in the west this chain of restaurants is actually famous for serving fast food and fruit juices yet now it has started serving the main course.

Coming to out order we had ordered a paneer tikka masala, 2 butter naan, 1 Plain Roti, masala papad and finally a royal falooda to finish it off. The Paneer tikka masala was just amazing is one of the finest I have eaten in so many restaurants. The paneer was fresh and soft and the best part was the quantity which could have easily sufficed three people. Apart from that these guys also took care of our special instructions of not making it less spicy and making it without capsicum.

The naan and the roti were nice and soft with the butter naan having a generous amount of butter flowing through its surface. Apart from that, the masala papad was nice as well. Fried perfectly and crisp, it did contain a sufficient amount of spices and veggies such as tomatoes and onions. Finally, coming to the falooda it too tasted delicious with a nice scoop of vanilla ice-cream albeit it was slightly oversweetened which could have been made properly.

The only drawback of the restaurant I felt was the speed of service which is extremely slow. Just to serve us the papad as a starter these guys took almost half an hour that too on a weekday when you don't have so much of a rush during the afternoon. Except this, the food tastes really good and you must try this restaurant and as a tip avoid visiting during the weekend since then their service might get...

The food is okay but the delivery handling is extremely poor!!

Amar always makes mistakes on parcel deliveries…at least for mine they have done it repeatedly. They charge full amount but deliver incomplete orders.

As customer, we understand that mistakes happen during peak hour but repeated mistakes are not at all acceptable. It questions the restaurants efficiency to handle parcel orders.

As restaurant, they need to understand when a customer orders food, they are waiting for the quantity they have ordered and every time the restaurant misses, someone have to go hungry despite paying full money for missing order!

I my instance, even after accepting their mistake of delivering incomplete order, Amar's Staff does not deliver the remaining food but instead asks me to get it adjusted in their NEXT order.

Does Amar restaurant expects customer to eat incomplete food because of mistake on restaurant’s end? Very poor handling of such mistakes by the order taking person.

Extremely disappointed by their approach. I have dedicede never to order food from this restaurant and also recommend my known people to avoid ordering from this place and instead prefer to only inhouse Dining if possible or opt for alternative.
