Since 1895 @kbhagattarachand is recognised it's legacy of rich heritage and mouthwatering dishes, this place has been a favorite among locals and travelers alike. I visited @kbhagattarachand restaurant located in Borivali West. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor reflects a blend of tradition and modernity, setting the perfect backdrop for a delightful dining experience K Bhagat Tarachand is famous for its authentic North Indian cuisine. From aromatic curries to freshly made rotis, naan, kulcha, every dish is crafted with love and attention to detail. The menu is very precise and I am sure you won't go wrong in your choices. Starting with Papad Churi which is their Signature dish to start. Lot of crunch to it and most importantly that blast of fried onions and mixture of all the spices is an ultimate choice. I ordered Dal Baati Churma came up with pure ghee which added richness to the next level. Then season favorite Aamras with puri and ofcourse incomplete without signature aloo ki Bhaji which was so flavorful. Then in mains I ordered Veg Dehati which was loaded with vegetables, green looking gravy. Dal Tadka had a beautiful layer of tadka on top. I had with butter chapati followed by ghee chapati. I wished to order rice but but I had kept space for desserts. Mango Lassi which I ordered initially, repeated again. Had a nice mango taste to it. Lassi was thick, creamy and certainly filling. Soft Gulabjam paired with milky and Rabdi which was nicely balanced with sweet and infused with cardamom and mill cream. Miong Dal Halwa, ditto unavoidable like Rabdi. Crumbly texture from dry fruits and melts in mouth feeling as soon as you bite. Every dish is prepared fresh, precision. You can see live kitchen from dining area. Overall, K Bhagat Tarachand Hotel offers a delightful culinary experience that’s sure to satisfy your taste buds. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth. Focusing on specific and precise menu I am sure you won't make wrong choices here. Satisfaction guaranteed.

🌟 K Bhagat Tarachand - A Culinary Oasis of Sindhi Delights My recent visit to K Bhagat Tarachand on a bustling Sunday involved a wait of an hour and a half, but let me assure you, the experience was unequivocally worth it! 🍛 Authentic Sindhi Culinary Bliss: If you're yearning for a taste of home with a Sindhi twist, this is the place to be. The Indian Sindhi cuisine served here is unparalleled, offering a burst of flavors that instantly transport you to a cozy home kitchen. Every dish is served fresh and piping hot, mirroring the comfort of a homemade meal. 👨‍🍳 Friendly and Efficient Staff: Despite being overpacked and buzzing with activity, the staff at K Bhagat Tarachand managed to maintain a friendly and efficient demeanor. The warm hospitality added an extra layer of charm to the overall dining experience, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a lovely family restaurant. 🍽️ Culinary Highlights: The culinary journey began with the spicy and flavorful Papad Chura, a perfect 5/5, followed by the crispy and hot Aloo Tuk, a Sindhi delight scoring another 5/5. The Masala Khicha with onions and tomatoes earned a respectable 4/5, while the Paneer with Veggies, a main dish, secured a commendable 4/5. However, the true star was the Butter Roti, a heavenly creation with a butter slab, earning the title of the best dish. 🍯 Room for Improvement: While the Moong Dal Sheera was deemed okay, it leaves room for improvement. However, the overall experience was so delightful that any minor shortcomings were easily overshadowed. 👍 Final Thoughts: K Bhagat Tarachand is a gem for Sindhi cuisine enthusiasts. The limited but curated menu offers the best starters, and the culinary journey is a testament to the culinary expertise that resides within. The desire to explore more dishes is already brewing, and a humble request is made to expand the menu further. #KBhagatTarachand #SindhiCuisine #CulinaryDelight #FamilyRestaurant 🍲🌟🍽️

Location: Slightly difficult to locate. If not for the light hoarding on the side I would have easily missed out the place. Parking: There is space for 2 wheelers. But I had a slight issue there. Someone had parked their vehicle in an odd way. On asking the staff they weren't very helpful with moving the vehicle or asking the owner to do so. Ambiance: Simple, cozy and homely. Loved the whole vibe and energy of the place. Waiting time: At peak hours, there is waiting time but it isn't much. They make sure you are comfortable and your wait isn't too much. Menu card: They have an interesting menu card with a small tab that mentions about the importance of food ingredients. As a nutritionist, I appreciate that. Food: We ordered the Thursday special Panner angara. The veg Jilly Milly as recommended by the staff handling our orders, a bottle of chas, dal fry and jeera rice. • chas: Absolutely amazing and refreshing. No overpowering spices or salt. •Veg jilly milly- I absolutely loved it. A veg made of finely chopped veggies yet retaining the taste of each one. Definite must try. • Panner angara: Somehow it was too loaded with spices for me so I couldn't have it. Plus there was no oneness in the panner and gravy. •Ghee, butter and regular chapti- Out of the 3 I loved the plain roti. The ghee roti was nice and soft too. • Dal fry: I fell in love with it and it was the star of the night. One should definitely try it. • Jeera rice: Somehow I felt it was Slightly undercooked (around85%) but then that also depending on how they prepare it and individual palate. Finally, for the dessert we had gulab jamun. Overall, a good experience with warm service.
