It’s my go-to after-hours spot in Bombay—somewhere between a hidden jungle and a late-night ritual. Even if you don’t plan to end up here, somehow, you always do.

They have weird stag couple issue that is created by bouncer operating lift. I live abroad and have gone many bars in Europe, korea, Singapore, Japan..... So forth. I have never seen this. That person to person discrimination at door. Some stags allowed even in hopeless shorts and some not allowed even if they are wearing decent clothing. I happen to talk to one denied person in a decent outfit. He said he is senior Bank manager at Singapore. Right behind him a stag with very ugly cheap short was allowed. I think this is happening because bouncers come from very poor cheap family and they feel the patron will behave same way as he would after drinks. No, absolutely not, there is no comparison between bouncers brought up and decent patrons. In foreign countries many bouncers are from good families because no job is shameful abroad. Thats they can judge decency and do not refuse patrons unless they have bad record in past. Thats why I am making so much efforts to write this because its very insulating for...
