Visited Eddie's Bistro on a rainy Saturday evening few months back. Eddie's is nicely tucked away amongst a plethora of stores and restaurants on Pali Hill, and can actually be difficult to spot. Once inside though, the place is actually pretty large and has an outdoor seating area as well (preferred by the smokers). The place was packed as expected by revellers, and we had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table, which we had to switch thrice because we were a group of 7 and the first two tables were uncomfortable. Finally, two tables were conjoined to our comfort. The ambience is nice with a orangish feel and nice decor.
Coming to the main part, which are the food and beverages. I decided to go for a New York Sour, while my friends were in the mood for some beer. They ordered some Bira's, followed by a bucket of Corona's.
For starters, we ordered Stuffed Chicken Roulade's and Greek Chicken Kebab's. The Roulade's were good, slightly on the sour side, with some delicious sauce. The Kebab's came on mini-skewers, dipped with a yogurt sauce, always a good combination with chicken if you ask me.
In our next round, we ordered Grilled chicken, which came with sides of mashed potato and roasted veggies. The chicken was well-cooked, and the quantity was pretty good, to say the least. Next came the Bechamel Sauce Chicken Pasta, and the Tomato Sauce Chicken Pasta. I am not the biggest fan of tomato sauce, but I liked the Bechamel Sauce pasta, with generous chunks of chicken and a pair of garlic bread to go with it.
We ended the night with mini lamb sliders and some lime chilli squid. I am a big fan of squid, and the tangy taste of the lime chilli made it a wonderful concoction. To be honest, I was unimpressed by the sliders though.
Overall, the place gets 4 from me, service was a bit slow on the night, but polite and courteous. Music was too loud at times, and it was difficult to have a conversation, but then again, this place maybe isn't one to have a conversation at. I felt the prices were overall reasonable.
The menu can definitely do with some more options, I would recommend it to anyone on the lookout for some nice...

We tried: Mock-tails : ♦️Mint Tangerine & Pineapple Basil Cooler: If you are looking for non alcoholic , refreshing drinks then you can't go wrong with these.
Small Plates: ♦️Herb Chilli Garlic Prawns: Jumbo sized juicy prawns were well marinated and perfectly cooked balancing the flavours and the spices.
♦️Lamb Sliders : The aromatic lamb pattie with middle eastern spices and yellow cheddar cheese with onion chutney were slathered in between the mini buns. It was garnished with cherry tomatoes. It was eye pleasing and yummy.
Main: ♦️Harsissa Spiced Fish: A large slice of fresh harissa spiced fish was served with lentils, risotto, pineapple salsa and sour cream. Highly recommended for its taste and presentation.
♦️Alfredo Pasta: Penne pasta was cooked in cream, cheese, pepper, exotic vegetables and prawns. It was thick, creamy and delicious. The best part was the presentation of prawns in the dish.
Dessert: ♦️Tiramisu Cheese Cake: It was soft, creamy with the right notes of coffee, vanilla with a hint of chocolate. The filling was wonderfully light, creamy balancing the coffee syurp. A must try dessert.

Eddie’s Bistro has long been on my radar, and I finally decided to give their Iftaar menu a whirl, expecting nothing less than a feast for the senses. Right from the get-go, the presentation scored high marks; the food arrived in pristine packaging that promised good things within.
Carnivorous Delights Unleashed: The evening kicked off with Lamb Sliders, a real treat for the palate. These little delights were packed with tender, juicy lamb that melted in the mouth—clearly the star of the evening. Each bite was a perfect symphony of flavors, making it hard not to crave more.
Vegetarian Surprise: Next up, the Paneer Chilly. Soft, succulent cubes of paneer tossed in a spicy sauce that had a kick but was incredibly flavorful. It was a bit on the spicy side for my taste, but it seemed to hit the right note with everyone else at the table, proving that spice is indeed the variety of life.
Kebab Corner: The Chicken Seekh Kebab lived up to its reputation. Perfectly cooked with spices that sang through each bite, it was a testament to the careful preparation and love that went into its creation. It’s always a pleasure when a dish meets your high expectations, and these kebabs did just that.
A Chinese Twist: Rounding off the meal was a Chicken dish with a Chinese twist that was intriguingly different. It was a refreshing change, adding a unique flare to the meal and showcasing the versatility of Eddie’s kitchen.
Overall Experience: Eddie’s Bistro delivered an Iftaar that was both delightful and memorable, scoring a solid 5/5 on the food front. It’s clear that their culinary prowess isn’t just about good food, but about creating experiences that linger long after the meal is over.
Whether you’re in it for the love of meat or the joy of well-crafted vegetarian options, Eddie’s is a bistro that caters with heart and substance. Looking forward to more culinary...
