"Great ribs, but the service left us cold!” Rule #1 of hospitality: Never ask a seated guest, mid-meal, to move!!!!! 16/33 – Bandra’s Newest Neighbourhood Bar 16/33 positions itself as Bandra’s stylish new hangout, with every corner designed for comfort and style. On first impression, the interiors are hip and inviting. FOOD: Pork Ribs: Absolutely the star of the evening. Soft, juicy, and bursting with flavour – a must-try. East Indian Marinated Rawas Fish: Sadly, a complete miss. Dry and cold – a waste of perfectly good Rawas. Best avoided. Seating & Ambience: We were seated on the ground floor – chic at first glance, but feels cramped once you settle in. Think of it as a hipper version of Yacht / Old Street Café / Janta Bar. The music? Far too loud for such a small space. A classic Mumbai bar habit that really doesn’t work here. Service: The entrance staff were polite and welcoming. On a Wednesday night, no less, they told us all tables were booked and asked if we’d mind sitting at the community table. (Yes it was busy night inside!) We agreed. But midway through our 2nd dish – just as we started on the fish and were deciding on another round of drinks – the floor staff asked us to vacate because the 'community' table was reserved. Made us and the couple sharing the same to shift. *Rule #1 of hospitality: Never ask a seated guest, mid-meal, to move. It’s poor etiquette!"* Happened to another guest too, check reviews. We agreed to move, but instead asked for the bill, paid, and left – leaving the barely-touched fish behind. Drinks: A small menu but decent enough. Only two beers on tap, as listed on the menu. – IPA and Belgian Wit. Settled for the IPA. Not for beer lovers though. Verdict: Not returning. Between the cramped seating, loud music, and poor handling by the floor staff, the experience fell short. Would I consider going back? Maybe, but only for those excellent Pork Ribs and the genuinely courteous door staff.

Poor Review of Sixteen 33: Disappointing Experience on Day Two Visited Sixteen 33 on its second day of opening, and unfortunately, it was an extremely underwhelming experience. The place seems to be more focused on catering to the owner’s friends and VIP guests, leaving walk-in customers with little to no respect. We ordered three drinks—two Nut Cocktails and a Jim Beam Large with Ginger Ale. The person who took our order was oddly dressed in a Gatekeeper T-shirt, unlike the other servers inside wearing name tags. It was hard to tell if he was a bouncer, a server, or both, which was confusing and unprofessional. The manager initially promised us a table, but after making us wait for 40 minutes, he rudely turned us away, saying reservations couldn’t promise a time. He first told us it would take 20 minutes, then completely changed his stance. No food menu was offered to us either, as they seemed more interested in pushing the cocktail menu. The drinks and music were the only highlights, as both were top-notch. However, the service was abysmal. It took 20 minutes to get just two simple drinks. Even worse, we were made to sit at a smoking table outside, despite not wanting to. The place was overly crowded, and the small space only made it worse. There was no system for managing guests waiting for tables, and the whole experience felt disorganized and lacking any sense of ownership or customer care. Sixteen 33 really needs to improve its guest accommodation and service. Unfortunately, it was a poor overall experience, and we left quite disappointed.

SIXTEEN33 is not just a bar; it’s an experience. Nestled in Bandra, this spot effortlessly blends exceptional service with outstanding food, making it one of the finest bars in the area. What truly sets SIXTEEN33 apart is its innovative cocktail menu, inspired by the rich heritage of Bandra’s older times and local produce from its different villages. Each drink here isn’t just a mix of flavors but a story that pays homage to Bandra’s history. The bartenders take immense pride in sharing the tales behind the cocktails, adding an enriching touch to the experience. The craftsmanship and creativity that go into the drinks are unmatched, making every sip a trip down memory lane. The food, too, stands out with a menu designed to complement the cocktails, and it’s nothing short of fantastic. From small plates to full meals, the flavors are as vibrant as the cocktails. The service is warm and attentive, ensuring that you feel well taken care of throughout your visit. If you’re looking for a bar in Bandra that offers more than just a drink, SIXTEEN33 is the place to be. It’s a celebration of Bandra’s legacy, served in a glass.

The place has a good ambience and crowded on a weekend however the space is not suitable to host such large groups. It gets very messy moving around people in close proximity. Everyone has a preference but I personally didn't like the idea of very small space holding huge gatherings of people. When it comes to service of food and drinks. Its pathetic and horrible I hated the experience. I booked the place for my birthday for 10 people and the service we received was below par. Firstly we booked a table at 9.30 pm on 28th March and since the traffic in Mumbai can get really crazy all the time. We called the manager 1 hour before telling them that we will be slightly late by 40 minutes. They decided to give the table away to other people which was not acceptable. My friends who came on time before me were made to wait saying no table available. Inspite of booking a table and paying for the table reservation few days in advance. Secondly, after informing them several times they gave us table that only accommodates 7 people at once and the rest had to stand. The staff was very rude to us on phone when offering us the table. Thirdly, the service of drinks and food was very bad as food was served without a cutlery. Every other service was self service we had to go and order and get our drinks by ourselves. The place is understaffed and can't handle huge demands. Cocktails made tasted horrible. This type of service didn't meet my...
