Veranda Bandra - Modern Indian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

वranda is located in the posh locality of Pali hill and the entry to this place is kinda cute. Place is big enough and very spacious but somehow it looks small due to their cozy setting. The decor Feels like a home turned into a restaurant with exceptional and chic interiors without the headache of family. You will immediately fall in love with this place once you've seen from within obviously because no family or relatives here.

Coming to this place,

Like I said their interior is their USP. Fortunately the Saturday night I visited was a live jazz/blues music night. Yeah EARGASM but let's talk about it later. The seats are pretty comfortable with a lit candle on your table. Romantic right? I also saw tables with rose petals I don't know why I didn't get that table is what my GF asked me and there was silence at the table with her heels pressing my toe. Reserving a tables is the best option or else you can stand and eat like it's a wedding personal choice. The lighting could have been a little dimmer and should have focused more on the artist and the band as they were keeping the place lively.

Coming to the drinks,

I started with a beer as GSA ROTATION wasn't available we ordered

GSA BRIGHTSIDE (like I know what m talking about I have never had either) - The beer had a crisp taste and a flavorful aftertaste as well. But me and my GF both love beer( pretty evident if you see our bellies) so personal choice.

As They have a lot of unique options to choose right from beers, wines, sangrias and cocktails. After the beer we ordered sangria.

WATERMELON AND MINT CHENIN BLANC SANGRIA - The taste was good but felt like something was missing. Not one of the best sangria I've had but considering we are alcoholics we finished it all. My GF even ate the watermelon seeds coz it made contact with alcohol. Also they don't serve it in glass format it's either a half or a full pitcher which isn't a fair deal if you just wanna taste the sangria. Half pitcher serves approximately 4 wine glasses.

And for the one last better drink for the night, My GF ordered her favorite

SRIRACHA BLOODY MARY - It was good but here the tanginess was missing. With Sriracha included they could have made it the best Bloody Mary is what I think my GF was trying to say but most of the times I don't listen so M not sure .

I on the other hand went with safest,

TIKKI'S BLONDE - I ordered this fancy named drink because I always wanted a blonde GF which I didn't get so as a compensation to my lust TIKKI'S blonde. It's part old monk rum, part bira blonde with some spices and lime and this was the best drink I had that night maybe because this has beer sorry I am biased.

Coming to food, We didn't eat much coz we alcoholics. To go with beer I ordered

SPICY BABY POTA-TOTTES - This is the best tongue twister I mean starter to go with your beer. It's spicy because SRIRACHA it's tasty because chef's efforts it's empty because me. I loved it.

The next unique thing on the menu I had my eyes on was the ROASTED PUMPKIN SOUP but my GF made sure that if I ordered it she will get up and sit with some single hot guy coz she hates cockroaches, pumpkin and me in that order. So il try the soup next time with another GF or another life whatever comes first. So we ordered

ARACINI RICE BOMBS - Deepfried biryani rice balls served with sweet chili achari sauce and roasted papad. TBH it didn't taste like Biryani. I mean there was rice but no spice. It had a very bland taste I mean without the sauce and the papad I wouldn't have been able to finish it all. My GF made all kinds of weird expressions when she had the first and the last Bite. I loved it so much that she didn't like it. You guys wouldn't understand this as it is love gone bad turned hate kinda concept.

Last but not the least I tried their dessert,

SIN-DERELLA - which is basically chocolate biscotti pudding and it tasted like it should have. I loved it. I mean I m not a dessert kinda person but first Blueberry mud pot from Della resorts and now SIN-DERELLA from वranda I guess desserts are growning on me....

I visited this place with my cousins. This I is quite a good place with amazing ambience. The place Veranda is located inside Hotel Executive. This place is located on the main road so it is easy to find this restaurant you can go to this place using the Google map it will take you to the right place. As this place is close to my cousin’s house he suggested me to visit this place. As soon as we entered into the restaurant it gave us positive vibes the interior of the restaurant is too good each and every wall of the restaurant has some or the other painting it is a multi cousin restaurant located in famous area in Bandra which is Pali Hill there are many more restaurants in this area. As we entered at this place there is a booking counter so if you are planning to visit this place you can pre book your table before going this place also offers home delivery facility so if you want you can also order your food online. This main thing I liked about this place is there is a live band setup available in this restaurant so if you want to enjoy your food with some entertainment your should definitely give this place a try I would recommend you to visit this place on Friday, Saturday or Sunday as the bands are only played on this three day but there is music on the speakers everyday so if you want relaxing music you can visit from Monday to Saturday and if you want to enjoy Bollywood music you music you can go on Friday Saturday or Sunday I love the ambience the sitting is also nice and comfort you can go to this place with your friends or family. Service is also good and fast all thanks to Mr.Govinda who was the steward at this place and he was serving us his service was fast and quick he was helpful to us he helped us in all the possible way he can and did not gave us any chance of disappointment service was good the food at this place is just amazing they give most of their food in combos in main course so you don’t miss anything the food really look good and the taste was also good they also serve sea food like prawns. Overall had good experience at this place. They also have live bar counter so if you want to enjoy your drinks with some music and food you must definitely give this place a try. There is a big TV on the bar counter so you can live stream your favorite match with your drinks and food. Coming to the food and drinks we had. WHAT WE HAD DRINKS

1. Indian Sunrise This was a mocktail and it was yellow and brown in color I love the way it was made it was nicely presented garnished with orange this was made using peach, mint leaves, cranberry juice and orange juice.
2. Snow White Chocotini This was my favorite from all the drinks we had. This mocktail was white in color and this was having taste of coconut and chocolate in it.
3. Mixed Berry Lemonade This drink was brown in color but the taste was too sweet and I don’t like drinks with too much sweetness.
4. Guava berry This drink was served in a glass were the mouth of the glass was having salt on it. They have used spices in this drink.

STARTERS 5) Dhaba Chicken Platter There was four pieces of chicken I this all the four pieces were having different taste and flavor I love the way it was presented the presentation was too good. 6) Butter Chicken Arancini This starter was my favorite among both the starters we had there was six round balls of butter chicken and was served with achari sauce the taste was good and it was soft. MAINS 7) Lasooni Palak Paneer I love the way they served their food there was two big pieces of paneer and palak garnished with lasoon and 2 pieces of kulchas and some yellow rice. 8) Grill Oriental Chicken Breast This was an authentic Chinese dish served with chicken brest and some gravy and there was also Thai Salad at one side. DESSERTS 9) Masala Cutting Kulfi This was a kulfi served in three glass of tea there was Indian spices in it which I did not liked. 10) Flourless Choco Cake The best part is always the dessert I love the cake it was too soft and the way it was presented was just amazing never miss this when you visit...

One of the Best fine dine in Pali hill with classy ambiance and lip smacking food.

I was looking for a place that is really very soothing and serves some amazing food, found this gem place in Pali hill. Place has a very attractive and classy interior. They have a food menu that definitely covers large varieties. They do have some amazing offers on three course meal which I found absolutely worth.

Talking about ambience of the place! Super soothing, cool blue in some area, some amazing show pieces at the entrance very well placed in a huge shelf, some colorful sofas, private dinning areas, amazingly designed lights, omg this place has an ambience that will just stun you.! I really loved the comfort that this place provides. They do play very soft music till 6 PM and after that its live music on four days of week which is one more thing that I always look forward to.! Something unique that I observed here was private dining sections are designed for big groups like 6 to 10 person. So if you are planning a dinner with family this is the place to be.! Overall ambience is classy and fabulous.

Talking about staff and service! Staff here was very polite, courteous and very well trained. Our table was excellently handled by Mr. Dipesh. What I liked most about the staff at this place is their knowledge about the entire menu and it was really impressive.! Service at this place was absolutely delightful and there was not a single flaw in service.

Talking on dishes & drink! Their food and bar menu is amazingly tailored to include large number of varieties and it will definitely have a dish of your choice in all three courses. We could try out few dishes, Desserts and drinks and it was all lip smacking and exceptionally delicious.

Mushroom car pachino : fresh mushrooms finely Sliced and cooked along with jira roasted asparagus, cherry tomatoes some fresh green beans. Herbs were used in perfect proportion and there was mild hint of mint as well. Dish was topped with some fresh baby mushrooms and it was enhancing both taste and presentation of the dish. Taste wise super delicious. Portion enough for two.

Tandoori Prawns exo tikka: only one word to say about this, 'WoW'.! Presentation was jaw dropping, Prawns were grilled with so much of perfection. Was served on a bed of mint sauce with herbs sprinkled. Prawns were served with hollandaise sauce, sauce was perfect blend of yolk and butter, it was perfect in taste and texture. Overall very exotic it was.

We also tried some refreshing mocktails, they were all very good.

Mixed berry lemonade: berry blast drink for all berry lovers. It was perfect mix of all three kinds of berries. Drink was absolutely refreshing and was served in a tall glass.

Indian Sunrise: as the name suggests, drink had color absolutely similar to that of the sky during sunrise. Perfect blend of peach, cranberry and ornage juice topped with some mint leaves. Super refreshing drink.

Ice wine tea sour: if you like taste twists then go for this one. Freshly cut apples with ice wine tea. Tasted really good and was super refreshing.

Snow white chocotini: this was one of the best non alcoholic martini kind of drink. Ingredients used in absolutely perfect proportions and mixed with perfection. It contained lychee puree, fresh coconut and white chocolate. Was topped with grated chocolate. Taste wise absolutely amazing.

This place offers main course in a bowl concept and we really loved the concept. We could try two dishes from mains and both were super tasty.

Dona Paula Pork Vindaloo: Vindaloo, an authentic gravy from goa. Pork belly was cooked to perfection! Gravy was upto the mark. Taste was really very good and near to the authentic one. Was served along with herb rice and some onion rings. If you love pork then this one is must try.

Legendary Paneer Butter Masala: one of the best paneer butter masala that I had in Mumbai. It was served with two kulcha.
