Gigil Brasserie ..... The Food Lovers cafe — Restaurant in Mumbai

EDIT 01: We visited this restaurant for a friendly reunion since I had a pleasant experience. However, mind it; we did not have a good experience.

The only good thing maintained in line with the previous review mentioned below is the taste and quality of the food. We ordered the Mexican exotic open sandwich. The taste was excellent, with cheese and vegetables topped with some mayo sauce based on soft white bread. The peri peri cheese fries were delicious and crisp with the combination of peri peri spice mix and cheese sauce.

The super decker pizza thin crust was nice and crunchy with a delicious load of toppings, sauces, and cheese making it great to eat. And so were the cheese nachos served with the right amount of cheese sauce and mayo dips.

However, the biggest issue was the service, which was exceptionally slow. It took them nearly 1 hr 45 mins to serve these four dishes and two ordered drinks. Every dish ordered took almost 25-30 mins to arrive at the table, and the worse part was when asked the waitress, she made a rude face saying it was being prepared.

Thus, the restaurant needs to improve its service time and train the serving staff to be polite to the customers. I suggest ordering from home rather than going to the outlet and wasting your time !!!

First of all hats off to the delivery service of Zomato. Delivered within 30 minutes as usual. Coming to the cafe saw this while browsing a list of cafes on zomato and thought why not give it a try but I was Truly delighted with the taste and quality.

Had ordered 3 Veg. Classy Burger and a combo of Fries and Cappuccino. The burgers cost me Rs. 49 each. The burgers tasted absolutely wonderful rather would say one of the best burgers I have ever had. The Aloo patty inside the burger was really nice. And not to forget the burger contained freshly chopped onions and tomatoes and lots of mayonnaise. Also, the burger had some really unique taste and it might be due to some masala or something these guys put but the burger was really wonderful.

Coming to the combo of fries and cappuccino, the fries were nice and fresh. It was perfectly salted being not too salted. And the best part was none of the fries were over fried or something. All were simply perfect. The cappuccino was too good having a strong flavor of coffee and a slightly chocolatey taste. It was served cold which made the taste even better.

All in all the experience was one of the finest and the burgers are truly the best I have ever eaten. Try once and you are sure to come back again to try...

Everyone has a typical mindset that if you recognise that outlet or if you heard about that outlet then only go , but that’s not true in all cases . Some restaurants or cafe are so good but no one watch the or see on social media , and that’s y they didn’t even know they have good outlet in there area .

This happened with me . I never heard about Felicita . But when my friend asked me to join him , I said let’s go . This is really nice place to have good times . It is 20 minutes from the Borivali station . It’s is near by platform no 1 Borivali station .

Well the Ambiance is nice . They have creative walls . Service is nice , all the staff are good . There is proper management and good facility for the customers .

What I had

1)PASTA WITH MIXED SAUCE - What if the combination of both sauces in 1 pasta . Sounds great right ? Yes , in this you will get the mixture of both sauce that is white and red . The taste was nice . And first time I had this type of pasta .

2)PASTA AL ARRABIATA - Another classic pasta! The taste was delicious. Hot pasta makes more impact . If you are red sauce lover , then you must try this .

3)TANDOORI PANEER BURGER - Panner stuff with the classic burger . Delicious taste with the potato wings. With that you will get schezwan sauce . The burger quantity is sufficient .

4)TANDOORI PANEER PIZZA - this time the panner with the taste of pizza . And it was perfect mixture . The pizza was really delicious. The price of the pizza also reasonable.

5)CROWDED HOUSE - Another paneer pizza but it has the different taste . The cheese has more impact in this . I would recommend you to have this pizza .

6)CHEESE GARLIC BREAD - So we took a meal of pizza with garlic bread . The cheese garlic bread was nice . And the size of the bread was sufficient . You will get 4 pieces .

So over all I had good time at FALICITA . It is the place that you can visit with your friends , family . And it has good variety of products . So if you want to explore any good restaurant or cafe then I will recommend you this . Food 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Service 4/5 Recommend 4/5 Value of money 4/5

Keep traveling, keep eating, keep...

Felicita with the tagline, the European concept Café, is located in Borivali, Mumbai. Provides seating to a good number of people in and out, this café runs a self owned menu called Gigil as well, the menu of which is presented at the tables. We when here, were excited to try out what they got in their menu that attracted crowd as soon as the shutters went up. Not just Uno or Jenga, but this place will not have you bored until your order is on the table.

The Fondues here are one of the most ordered dishes. So, in no time we ordered it. Due to a number of contents inclusive in this particular dish, it takes time for it to arrive. So, patience is suggestive. The Italian Fondue had Cheese Garlic bread, Nutella Waffle, French fries, two variety of Pizzas (you can choose), red/white Pasta, Mayo & Cheese dips and a Coolant (your choice). We’d name it as a wholesome breakfast. All tasted well, but oil content was a little high which kept us from consuming it.

The gigil menu here, suggests some really wholesome cookies, namely the oat and chocolate ones. It is quite crispy and would go great with a sip of coffee/ tea. The sugar was appropriately balanced so don’t think twice before grabbing one.

Gigil Burger is certainly an attraction of this place. To our surprise, its not like any usual burgers as this place is for mere chocolate fans. Chocolate buns are used in its preparation and in between lies sweet fruits like kiwi, green apples and a layer of chocolate jam, chocolate crunches. It was topped with cream and a cherry on top with waffles and the whole plate was garnished with the same. Alert: It’s a heavy meal and extremely tasty. It is highly recommended for all the chocolate fans reading this.

Lastly, the Choco Brownie Freak Shake took charge of our table. Another heavy consumption. Quite chocolaty, loads of cream, sprinklers,  chocolate sticks and what not! It wouldn’t have ended better than this.
