Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Borivali, Mumbai — Restaurant in Mumbai

Hi, I had placed a pre-order for the RakshaBandhan Special Hamper on 10th Midnight that was supposed to be delivered on 11th of August at 9:30pm. The delivery person never showed up at the delivery location yet I received an email about an order being delivered successfully and being charged for an order I did not receive. At first, the delivery person calls me from random location saying he got address issues and therefore he couldn't deliver it to the address mentioned and asked me to come and pick it up from where he is located or else he asked for Extra money to deliver the order at mentioned address that he needed in "CASH". After mentioning this situation to Customer Care they connected to the delivery person and asked him to deliver the order at the mentioned location and not ask for any money from the customer. But, After this call the delivery person did not show up and so I tried calling the delivery person. He never answered any of my calls, the call was never connected from then. Neither was I able to connect to customer care to raise my concern, I am now receiving a mail saying that the order is delivered whereas I never received one. What kind of Service is this? How can the delivery person call and ask for money to deliver the order when I had already paid for one? Why did I get delivery mail even though the order never arrived at my location? I had PRE-ORDERED and PRE-PAID for a special occasion, that order was really important to me and it needed to be delivered on time. What is the use of prr-ordering and pre-paying if that order does not arrive on-time? This is just so disappointing to get such the worst careless service from theobroma. I need a full refund for this disaster that the delivery person has made. I kindly request you to look through the Screenshots I have attached below for your reference and look into this matter and take action against the delivery person. Pathetic experience. Don't even think of going here. Their cakes are stale. Mawa cake I bought was so so sugary, one would puke. The outlet confirmed that after I complained they discarded all the Mawa cakes since they conceded that the problem was from their side. And can u believe for a mere refund of 350 rs, theobroma acts so arrogant. It has been 9 days and no refund yet. It's not even a big brand. H&M, Zara such international brands issue refund in 5 days without any following up. Also check theobroma s Zomato reviews..most people have given 1 star. I wish I had seen the recent reviews before wasting my hard earned money. The customer care is extremely pathetic. Nor will they reply or update u with the status of ur refund nor will they call back. They will read ur WhatsApp messages and ignore u or answer ur calls, keep u on hold for 8 to 9 mins and ask u the basic questions starting from square one. Well we all know Theobroma brand & we walk into store with 2 things in mind . quality of product. experience. ( Which includes hygiene & In this current situation of Pandemic- one can’t be ignorant at all ) I wanted to buy a cake for special occasion & driving all the way till Theobroma fully excited. I must share this., to my surprise moment when I walked into store it was stinking/ Foul smell - hence I was not in mood to buy open cake & brought packed box cake. When I told cashier about it he said yes doors are closed so it will come only & he was lease bother about customer feedback. Theobrama should take this kind of things seriously as there own staff is spoiling brand name.. It’s all about maintaining store & nothing else. Eventually they are selling food item. Folks think twice before going to this outlet . They are not selling product at lower price or this is any roadside store. There are end number of good other brands are available in market.
