The place looks small from outside but has multi-level seating available inside. They serve, appetizers, dumplings, sushi, bao, main course items, rice and noodles along with make your own Wok box, and bubble teas. Create your own box is available in 3 sizes i.e. Nano (small), Regular (medium) and Large.
We went here on Saturday night and could easily find place upstairs. Seating is casual with wooden chairs and tables are small. They do not have any toddler seats available. They tried to make it compact but failed to do it. On the first floor, the ac was not working and even after complaining the same to the staff members, they were blunt enough to say its not their problem as they have informed the management. Additionally, due to rains, there were many mosquitoes and flies flying around on the upper floor which was not good to see. The person who came to take our order was not trained enough and hence we had to go back down to place our order.
What we ordered: Crispy Water Chestnut, Crystal Dumplings, We opted for create your own Wok Box, Bombay Butterscotch Bubble Tea, Milo Tella Bubble Tea
Crispy Water Chestnut appetisers were ok and could be improved a little on taste. Crystal Dumplings were served in 4 pieces with sauce and it tasted nice. We opted for create your own Large size Wok Box where we selected steamed rice as base along with baby corn, pepper mix, tofu as vegetables, hot crispy garlic sauce and crushed peanuts, burnt garlic and chilli flakes as condiments. They made the wok in front of us and it was given to us in 15 minutes and it tasted really nice. The Crispy Garlic Sauce had right amount of hot and spicyness …..condiments added to the additional flavours and rice tasted delirious with it. Bubble tea has bubbles made from potato starch so if you are Jain be careful. Both of our Bubble Teas i.e. Bombay Butterscotch Bubble Tea and Milo Tella Bubble Tea tasted good but it was the bubbles which were stuck to each other and were hard to chew and eat which let it down. Quantity of the make your own box large size is sufficient for 2 people while the Nano box is for someone who wants to have a personal meal; Regular size is sufficient for one person’s lunch/dinner portion. Quality wise there are areas of improvement. The staff was ok and some more training is needed to make them knowledgeable about the food and order they take.
Overall, a decent place to try wok; staff needs to be courteous and cleanliness needs to be maintained. Make your own Wok is good option to try !! Portion are good size and definitely value for money.
Always hungry for more !!

Recommendations Chill Paneer Boa Sorted Vegetable Dumpings Peppy Garlic Paneer Stawberry Mojito Peach Ice Tea Crispy Tempura Sushi Green Thai Curry and Burnt Garlic Rice
The Chilli Paneer Boa was soft and delicious with the right amount of spice. We also tried the Chilli Mushroom Boa that was decent.but nothing too exceptional.
The assorted vegetable dumplings were outstanding. They were soft and the filling was delicious.
The pepper garlic panner was quite good too.
In the drinks we loved the strawberry mojito, peach ice tea and the mango basil. Though it would have been so much better without the "bubbles". They are chewy and not the bubbles we expect in bubble teas. They are not the burst in your mouth kind. Best to order them without the bubble.
In the Sushis, the crispy Tempura Rolls were nice. The Wasabi is really good here. The Veg Schewan Roll, while good as a fusion food, is not really for authetic sushi lovers. Chinese with Japanese.. not for us.
Green Thai Curry and the Burnt Garlic Rice went well with each other and were very good. Loved it.
In the world box, we had the Kung Pao Ramen Noddles and the Bangkok with Ramen Noodles. Both were quite good. The Wox Box comes in personal, medium and large. The personal wok box is quite filling for a light eater.
In desserts, wok express serves three flavours of Baskin Robbins and we tried the Very Berry Strawberry which is always yum. The almond brittle was a good end to the meal and the we had the fortune cookies. Can any good chinese meal end without one??
Nice place for a quick , reasonable and yet...
Read moreEverything was below par, the phone number had a recorded msg that said we could also order online and kept me on hold for 5 mins with no response, so decided to go online to place my order, to my luck the online site had a 15% discount, After receiving my order , my discount was not given to me, I had to call and waste another 10 minutes to get my discount applicable. The Kung Pao which was supposed to be spicy and garlicky was like honey soya and the Wasabi prawn dumplings were 4 pieces, the size of a 1 rupee coin which were green in colour but unfortunately or not even close to any Wasabi flavour, in fact it was sweet. What a nice concept but wouldn't want to...
