House of Amel — Restaurant in Mumbai

Disappointed with the Service:

I’ve been a loyal customer of House of Amel for over a year and have truly loved their croissants. While I’ve noticed a gradual reduction in quantity and an increase in prices, I still chose to continue ordering because I appreciated the quality.

However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered three boxes of mini croissants and received 2 which were noticeably smaller than the usual mini size. And not only was the size smaller but I was charged premium price for it. I immediately called the restaurant to raise the issue and requested a refund, but received no call back, no refund, and not even a basic apology.

Given the lack of accountability and response, especially after being a regular customer for so long, I will no longer be...

House of Amel has the most amazing croissants I have ever tried and I've eaten them in Paris, France as well as rest of Europe in the 7 years that I was there. The savory croissants were each of them delicious. In particular the Korean cheese croissant was so garlicky and rich in butter that even if it might not be the healthiest option, it is the one thing for which it would be okay to let go. What is life worth the extra minutes if you are not eating this. The chocolate croissant as well as the cruffin were also amazing. Placed an order for a Amel box of dessert at 1pm they tell me they have a technical glitch at 5pm and deliver me a box of croissants at 6-30 pm .

No apologetic about it at all .

Said the additional 250 I had to pay for the croissants was complimentary.
