This was our first experience at Central Lunch Home..situated opposite Sasoon dock..seems like an odd place to go at first..but u shud definitely try it for the awesome and authentic sea food they serve..a small homely restaurant..ambience is not very great..but all this dsnt matter when u have delicious sea food..we had ordered the surmai thali and bombil thali..They were out of chapatis..we requested them to provide the poha dosa which was appearing in the 'Today's special' menu..we were skeptical in the first place..however to our surprise the poha dosa turned out to be extremely soft and delicious..the soft dosa with the awesome fish curry was an awesome combination! Then we had the fresh surmai fry and the bombil fry..no words to describe the taste..was extremely fresh and the masalas were just as were needed..there was a serving of veg alu mutter which was surprisingly good..then the awesome rice and fish curry..made for heaven..overall a 10 on 10 to this restaurant for the food..and yes not to forget very reasonable...

Worst food Ever i ordered biryani they didn't even bother to give raita along with it so I asked them for raita and they said they don't hv right now it got finished . And for water also they did the same like how does ur drinking water got finished how u guys are running the resturant without drinking water they made us buy bottle so they can charge extra and at the last i thought masal papad would be better like it's the easiest to make but tht was worst I never had such spicy masala pavad tht i could hv even a single bite .worst don't visit better go eat...
