McDonald's — Restaurant in Mumbai

This is probably one of the biggest McD outlet in Mumbai. Despite it being in a prime location and surrounded by various other food chains and restaurants, it attracts a mass crowd and the diner tries to maintain their reputation of hygiene and cleanliness.

Due to the ongoing pandemic they have tried their best to reduce the spread and taking into consideration the norms of social distancing and contactless approach they have introduced Kiosk’s right at the entrance through which one can not only select & place their meal/order but can also make payments via e-wallets & cards and take the receipt to the counter. One can also place their order through the Kiosk and pay at the counter and as usual you can either go ahead straight to the counter and make the order & pay there. So yes that’s a brilliant move forward cause it might be difficult for the young ones if unaccompanied or the elderly to sometimes place an order through one of these kiosk’s. Don’t get me wrong it is absolutely user friendly and easy but I’m writing in regards to the mass audience.

The place has two dine-in’s, one on the main (ground) floor and the other one’s upstairs on the 1st floor where they have a toilet and wash, since the diner is located on the corner of a building the view is amazing looking out to the bustling street’s of Kalina.

The only issue is parking especially in the evening’s as the neighborhood gets packed due to the location and other eateries.

On the whole it is a great place to be when looking for a quick one with family...

Amid the pandemic, it is important to have healthy & hygienic food. And if you are ordering from outside, you need to make sure that restaurants serve the same!

Well, I don't know about others but McDonald's does offer safe and hygienic food to their customers and also propagates eco-friendly practices. It's just so amazing to see restaurants like them always keeping the societys' interests first!

So impressed by this, I placed an order for Chicken Maharaja Mac, McSpicy Chicken Burger, Fries, and a cold Coke.

The Chicken Maharaja Mac was created with a juicy chicken grilled patty along with delicious veggies like onions, jalapenos, slice of cheese, tomatoes & shredded lettuce with Habanero sauce. If I had to choose a burger with perfection, there is no doubt that I would choose the Chicken Maharaja Mac. Well, it was so tasty and the smooth texture of the chicken just had me wanting for more.

Everyone's favourite Piri Piri Fries and cold coke always make a McDonald's meal better & delicious.

And the McSpicy Chicken Burger? It was the goodness of spicy flavours mixed with that of the juicy & divine taste of the chicken. I was even told that all the chicken used in McDonald's goes through 64 quality tests to ensure food safety & hygiene to the customers.

When the rider reached my house, he made sure to take all the safety precautions before handing over the parcel to me. It was a completely seamless and contactless...

Very nicely kept Mc Donald's outlet here at Kalina.It started sometime in 2017 and have modern amenities with a great way to place an order with their new touch screen booth at the entrancd that also accepts payments to save long wait times and over crowding. Nice to see it automated with today's modern digital times. The staff is very courteous and well mannered. It has sitting arrangement on the top level too with nice clean washrooms. I'd recommend all to visit here once for a meal when ever in Kalina. The coffee tastes great and order delivery wait time is short . in case of longer wait due to larger number of customers the staff is polite and offers to serve food at the table so that patrons can sit and wait till the order arrives and minimise over crowding and standing.
