Mini Punjab's Bandra — Restaurant in Mumbai

Very rude staff. I wanted to use their washroom. So as I entered the restaurant the man stopped me and said that the restrooms are closed. Just then someone exited the restroom in front of me. As I tried to open the door, the staff member while trying to close it was pressing my hand against the door.

Upon asking the guy (who stopped me from entering the restaurant) his name so I could add to this review, he took me to the owner, saying speak with him as he asked me to stop people. While the owner heard my issue, he completely ignored the fact that my hand was being pressed against the door by his staff, saying "uska kya aukad hai, aap usko thappad maar sakte ho". As though hitting someone is the solution for everything. He further shared that everyone tries to use their washroom and so he has a problem.

There is a way of saying things instead of being so aggressive and rude about it.

In the photo, the Mini-Punjab manager/owner is sitting on the lower left side and the staff member who hurt me is standing...

The place is known for good Food, but my experience was 50-50 I guess ..or maybe it was just my Bad Luck.

We ordered a Paneer dish, naan and boondi raita.. So the raita and paneer was messed up .. sent both back but got only the raita back. So we were famished so we managed with just the gravy of the paneer dish ..

The place was not packed but still the service was not up to the mark.. the naans were delayed both time times we ordered.

The Captain was informed but I don't think he really understood my complaint and later came back and Patted my back as if he and i were old pals and asked me I hope you did not mind. I told him the paneer was a mess and raita was no good but I had fun Which I know for a fact he did not understand coz he said Thank You Sir, Please Visit us again. I told him You wish. To which he responded "Should i get the Bill" So I gave him a Thumbs up.

I do hope someone from the management reads this and does...

Had bad experience.(1st Jan). Just an overhyped restaurant nothing else. Reviews shows true colours. •Food (3/5) : Food was ordinary nothing great. We had chicken Peshawar, quantity was good for 2/3 ppl Taste was good too. CH biryani was inedible Rice was smelling, chicken wasnt fresh. It was inedible. Bit overpricy. •Hygiene (1/5): filthy place. When you're charging this amount of cost from people at least give us good hygiene.allthe plates and spoons had greasyness on it and on top of that we sat in outdoor seating because it was sunday and we were only 2 people so they were ignoring us and entertaining big groups. In outdoor sitting flies are everywhere. When we complained about flies one of their waiter said 'haan woh toh he hee' and left. Waitors dont follow any hygiene measurements.
