Was searching for a spot to have lip smacking dishes nearby bandra, bandra has many spots to visit. Went to this spot, quite interesting name along with special features. Spend your time here along with their signature cocktails and lip smacking dishes.
“MONKEY BAR” is a gastropub I’ve visited recently. This spot serves Mexican, North Indian and some of quick bites options. Apart from this they have luscious range of cocktails to try out. Located at Bandra West can be easily accessible.
The Ambience is theme based, looks pretty good. Some of the pictures on the wall, typical gastropub decor. Spacious spot having proper seating arrangement. Hospitality was taken care especially Mr. Sareyakant took good care of us.
WE HAD THE FOLLOWING
COCKTAILS
1)MOBAR MACE- Absolute vodka was infused in javitri, vodka blended with sweet & sour tonic water. Tasted well, not too strong cocktail. Vodka blended well, had a nice taste. Presentation was pretty good, as this cocktail was served in a jar.
2)PIED PIPER- this was interesting choice, a twist to the cocktail. Their in-house signature jeera syrup infused with blenders pride reserve whiskey. This also includes cinnamon and ginger ale. The mixture went well, tasted on point. A bit strong cocktail, the presentation was on point.
STARTERS
1)CHICKEN CHAPLI- Started off with this quite different starter, Pashtun style flattered kebab with the twist of Kerala porata. Tasted delicious, juicy chicken kebab were served to perfection with Kerala porata. This kebab were served with green chilly chutney. Quantity was sufficient, it was well presented. If you’re a non-vegetarian, then you wouldn’t regret after ordering this.
2)BUTTER CHICKEN KULCHA- Was looking for tandoor starter to try out, went for this one, It really met my expectation level, kulcha was stuffed with tomato makhani chicken, had a nice buttery flavour with methi and coriander. Tasted delicious, the chicken kulcha with tomato makhni was delightful to have it. Two big pieces were served to perfection.
3)CHICKEN TIKKA PIZZA- Thin crust chicken tikka pizza consists of mozzarella and cheddar cheese along with tomato sauce. Delhi’s signature chicken tikka stuffed to perfection in thin crust with onion and tomato. Well balance of flavours and sufficient amount of chicken pieces, tasted scrumptious. The base was perfect, quantity was sufficient. Presentation was also up to the mark.
4)THAI STYLE CHICKEN BURGER- Grilled chicken patty had a twist in it, galangal spiced infused juicy chicken patty with chilli, garlic, lemongrass. Had a combination of white cheddar cheese with sesame seed. Thai style burger consist of garlic arugula. Tasted really delicious, tender and Juicy chicken party were served to perfection. French fries along with this Thai style chicken burger. Quantity was sufficient as the size of burger was huge. Presentation was on point, worth to try out this burger.
Over all it was memorable experience at this spot. From quick bites to cocktails everything was perfect. I would surely recommend this spot, One of the classic spot to have quick bites along with cocktails. Would be back here soon.

The decor is inside is quite cozy due to the lighting and gives night subtle vibe with the music. The outdoor has great lighting and would be an ideal place to click lots of pictures. Also, the weather right now is perfectly soothing to spend an evening at the place! The staff is very gentle and helpful. They helped us with the food suggestions too which turned out to be great advice. The servings were fresh and timely . We Ordered : Juicy Martini: The juicy martini was the perfect blend of vodka, Rhodedendron syrup, pear juice and apple juice. It was smooth and a little sweet in taste
Mobar Mace- Javitri It was a part of their cocktail menu. If you like a hint of sour and tangy in your drinks, you can go for this one. It was Absolute Vodka along with Tonic water.
Brownie cookie shake The shake was quite filling and didn't expect that much of quantity, so it was a pleasing surprise. The shake was sweet and considerably thick. It you have a sweet tooth, this one is a perfect pick for you!
Nimbu masala fries:
It has to one of their 'must try'. The quantity was great. It was quite sufficient to share between 2-3 people if you are having them with the drinks. Tikka masala was spread all across the chilli potato fries with cucumber mint pieces in it. In between you could sense the tangy lemon flavor too. It was served with a bowl of sauce.
Onion and cheese Kulcha: If you are looking to hog on some delicious veg options, go for the onion cheese kulcha here. The kulchas were generously stuffed with cheese and onion pieces. On the top of it fresh makkan was there. It was served with amazing green chatani.
Two States Chicken It was basically crispy chicken made in 65 sauce served with uttapams. There's an option available to customise the same dish in paneer for vegetarians. The chicken was fresh and crispy.

It is located near Starbucks, Linking Road. Easy to locate restaurant.
This place is really amazing to chill or for party. Their Saturday night is fabulous.

COCKTAILS -
Mobar Mace - A cocktail of javitri infused absolute vodka, sweet and sour with tonic water. This amazing cocktail is a must try.
Imli Sour - A cocktail of blenders pride reserve whiskey, adrakimli saunth chutney, egg white. This cocktail was bit hard. Loved the cocktail a lot.
SHAKE -
Brownie cookie shake - The shake was made with brownie, milk, oreo and chocolate syrup. It was very thick and tasty. And it served with a piece of brownie.
Monkeccino cold coffee - It was a cold coffee with a twist of mint. The taste of mint and coffee was so perfect. If you want to try something different then this one is perfect.
FOOD -
Samosa Chaat - This dish is perfect to have with cocktails. Curried potato and green peas stuffed mini samosa served with chutney and khatti daal. Loved the chaat so much.
Bocconcini Margarita Pizza - A simple margarita pizza with classy taste. I can’t express the taste in words. It was superb and must try. The crust was so thin and so tasty. Pizza was perfectly made with right amount of cheese and it was super delicious. Thought it was a vegetarian pizza. But it’s highly recommended.
Gundruk Friedrice - Not that regular fried rice. It had carrots, beans, edamame beans and gundruk (dried fermented radish leaves). The rice was so delicious. It’s a must try. Also they have options available in this rice like egg, prawns and beef.
Apple Pie Cheese Crumble - Ended my meal with this sweet and cheesy dessert. Loved the presentation of it. It served with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon dust.
My experience was so amazing. Loved everything about this place and I’m sure I’ll visit here again very soon. The food was fantastic. The quality and quantity of food was damn amazing. Service was excellent.
