Punjab Grill, Palladium Mall Lowe Parel- ❖ Long Review Alert ❖ My Recommendations- • Peach and mango White wine sangria • Chaamp Tajdar • Mutton Galouti kabab • Murgh ki Chaampein • Tarkari kesari biryani • Kulfi Falooda ❖ Location- Located in the 3rd floor of Palladium mall in lower pare, guess the best location in Mumbai. (5/5) ❖ Theme- A fine dine restaurant taking your culinary cravings to the state of Punjab. (4.5/5) ❖ Ambience- Not a huge place but done their interiors extremely classy. A wow fee as soon as you reach near the entrance of it. Got nice waterfall behind the entrance glass wall of the restaurant. Lighting is superb with big handing chandelier, looks amazing. Seating is perfect almost all tables serving four guests. Table setup is done purely in fine dine manner, gives you special effect. Got two private dining kind of tables for guess 10-12 covers seating where the groups can enjoy private dining without getting disturbed from normal guests of the restaurant. ❖ Food and Beverage- They Serving Punjabi food and that too in authentic and classy way. Fine dine restaurant who actually serves in a fine dine way. We went to try their Heirloom menu which had very thoughtful dishes listed. Menu has everything which a fine dine north Indian restaurant needs to have it starting from soups, grills, starters, mains, desserts etc. Authentic taste of the food and plating of the all dishes were at highest standards. Though they serve authentic Indian food, they are not left behind in their beverage offerings. They have two beverage menu’s one for regular cocktails and straight drinks and one for sangria. So many options of Sangria serving in both i.e., red wine and white wine. Was little surprising for me I am not a sangria person to be very honest but I loved both of the sangria’s I tried. (4.5/5) Sangria- • PEACH AND MANGO SANGRIA- White wine based sangria with vodka, peach syrup, mango syrup, cubes of mango and pomegranate. A Perfect blend which was little sweetish but refreshing too.(4.5/5) • SINGLE LADY SANGRIA- Vodka based drink with strawberry, pomegranate juice, and French white wine. Satisfying for eyes and palate both.(4.5/5) Food- • PAPAD PLATTER (Appetizer) - A combo of few local varieties of papad from Punjab served with sour dip and chunky salsa kind of relish. Can say a nice and desi start to your meal.(4/5) • MURGH DALCHA TIKKA (Grill) - Chicken leg chunks marinated in tikka marination and covered with yellow daal puree then cooked in tandoor. Outer layering of soft (Well cooked) daal was giving a true wow effect to the chicken kabab. Loved the innovation of chef.(5/5) • MURGH KI CHAAMPEIN(Grill)- Chicken chops marinated in Indian spices and hung curd and then cooked in tandoor to give a perfect must order starter in Punjab grill.(5/5) • MUTTON GALOUTI KABAB (Appetizer) - A super fine mutton mince mixed with exotic Indian spices and as it’s said held together by willpower. Melting in a mouth galouti kababs made in real royal way along with warqi paratha. A must order dish friends.(5/5) • KULFI FALOODA (Dessert) - A perfect homemade malai and kesar kulfi and vermicelli kind of falooda giving a classic touch by generous amount of dry fruits like pista and almond. A must try dessert friends. Kulfiwas out of the world. (5/5) • GULABJAMUN (Dessert)- Gulabjamun stuffed with different fillings like nuttella, pista etc. It was really heavy and in a perfect thickness.(3.5/5) ❖ To sum up- I will strongly recommend this place if you are craving for fine dine north Indian food. Loved everything about them actually. Service standards were top notch. Few of their dishes which I have mentioned are must try dishes. Don’t forget to try sangria from their menu. I would be one of their regular guests now onwards for sure. ❖ Try them friend you all would love it.

An evening at Punjab Grill presented a range of experiences that, unfortunately, did not align with the high expectations one might have for such a reputed establishment. Food Taste: 3/10 The culinary offerings at Punjab Grill were a significant letdown. The dishes, while visually appealing, fell short in flavor and execution. The taste profile was bland and lacked the vibrant spices and bold flavors that define authentic Punjabi cuisine. Each dish seemed to lack the depth and richness expected, leaving much to be desired in terms of both complexity and satisfaction. Service: 3/10 The service, much like the food, left much to be desired. Despite the staff’s apparent efforts, the overall experience was marred by sluggish responses and a noticeable lack of attentiveness. Requests were often met with delays, and the general demeanor of the service team did not convey the warmth and hospitality one hopes for in a dining experience. The service fell short of the standard one would expect from an establishment of this caliber. Ambience: 6/10 The ambience of Punjab Grill was its most redeeming quality. The restaurant featured a pleasant, though unremarkable, setting that struck a balance between casual and refined. The decor was adequate, with traditional elements that spoke to the Punjabi theme, but it lacked the distinctive charm and atmosphere that could elevate the dining experience. The ambiance was comfortable but did not stand out as particularly memorable. Price: 5/10 In terms of pricing, Punjab Grill did not offer compelling value. The cost of the meal seemed disproportionate to the quality of both food and service. While not exorbitant, the pricing did not reflect the level of excellence one might expect, leaving the impression that the meal did not justify its expense. Ease of Booking and Reach: 10/10 On a positive note, the ease of booking and the accessibility of Punjab Grill were flawless. The reservation process was straightforward, and the restaurant’s location was convenient, making it easy to plan an evening out without any logistical complications. Conclusion: Overall, Punjab Grill delivered an experience that fell significantly short of expectations. The shortcomings in food taste and service overshadowed the pleasant ambience and ease of access. While the logistical aspects were managed well, the core elements of dining—flavor, service, and value—left much to be desired. It is hoped that the restaurant addresses these areas to align more closely with its esteemed reputation.

I would highly recommend Punjab grill at palladium Phoenix to all those who love to enjoy hearty & authentic meals. I visited PG for dinner mid of Nov 22 for dinner & we absolutely loved the starters, main course & even the dessert. That time we had the Dahi kebab which were really amazing, melt in mouth & delicious. Slight flavour of elaichi & hari mirch with a crisp golden coating. Next was the nadru ke galouti, superbly wow. Couldn't imagine the lotus stem in this form. As the name says galouti, it was extremely soft in texture & a beautiful balance of flavors. We also had the dhaga burn mutton seekh kebab. Omg this is a must have here. Soft mutton mince ( non smelly), very good seasoning, perfect balance of garam masala, & finely chopped pieces of bell peppers gave it a nice crunch in between. For the mains we had malai kofta which was rich & creamy. Portion size is more than enough for 4 adults. Rotis & nans were stupendous. Again a huge portion. One nan / roti is enuf for two. The kulfi falooda was decent. Special thanks to manager Gajanan who was courteous & gave us fabulous suggestions with regards to what had to be ordered & also informed us about the portion size . The second visit was yesterday, That is the first week of Jan. The food and service was equally good yesterday . We again had the mutton kheema dhaga burn kebab, the dahi kebab & nadru galouti. Again this time it was stellar. My favorite starters at PG. What we had this time were the chicken tangdi kebabs which were brilliant. Flavourful marination on the tender chicken & chargrilled to super perfection. We also had the aloo pyaaz kulcha which was fantabulous. Pls do not miss this. It is served with small portions of rich dal makhani, white butter , sweet & tangy tomato chutney. Yumm. We also had the butter chicken which was decent as well. Personally for my choice & taste it could have been better. Rotis & laccha paratha was wow. Service is excellent. The servers are knowledgeable & courteous. Appreciate the personal attention of the manager, Mr Nitin M who was supervising whether the lunch was going well . He also gave us the paan shots in the end. It was good to chit chat with him & have a deeper understanding about the kind of preparations at PG. Will surely be a regular patron here. Thanks.

Punjab grill is a famous nice upmarket North indian cuisine restaurant .I Visited the palladium outlet. Interiors of this restaurant are vibrant, sophisticated with a decent seating capacity Hospitality, staff service is very nice.A word of mention for their staff executive who was very polite and humble and gave good service and made my visit to this place a pleasant one.

Coming to variety of dishes i tried here

Mocktails

Meetha patta mojito - Sweet in taste.made loghter with lime juice added .Great refreshment in hot weather.

Dhaniya patta mojito- A mocktail with coriander leave flavour taste..Nice .

Kesar pista wali lassi pedha de naal -Best of 3 for me .A cool, soothing lassi with combination of dry fruit and curd.A few strands of kesar are also added in it.

Soups-

Khumbh pudina Shorba-Mushroom based soup..simply superb

Tamatar da shorba- Tomato based soup.Simple but had a rich flavour

I personally liked khumbh pudina soup more of the 2 .

Starters Tandoori gucchi -Taste like a spongy mushroom.brownish in colour.Tasty and same time rich in minerals and vitamin D.I loved it

Paneer tikka multani -A signature starter of punjab grill .Cottage cheese, ginger, green chilly, garam masala used in its preparation and served with mint chutney.Yummy .

Veg kurkuri - Wonton skin with mushroom stuffing.Deep fried dish.

Dahi de kabab-Hung curd with lots of cardamom and coriander. The kababs are very soft, smooth and served with chutney.

Main course Paneer lababdar -Soft paneer dipped in to tomato gravy With exotic spices used in it.Mesmorizing taste.Best part being it was medium spicy. Anmritsar malai kofta -Cashewnet gravy bassed .Pistacho, green chillies rolled in kofta balls .

Dal punjab grill -Yummy dal..Term it as Maa ki daal.Cant go wrong with this.

Assorted bread basket -Tandoor Roti, butter naan and Paratha served in bread basket.

Masala papad -Fresh fried papad with tomatoes and onions, masala sprinkled on top..

Jeera rice -Served warm.Satisfying to have with dal punjab grill.

Desserts Gulabjamun -delicious gulabjamun served with syrup .It also had a hint of chocolate, almonds, pistachios added to it..I personally like the gulab jamun(without any additions)

Kheer -very sweet and overloaded with dryfruit and cream..i loved it.

Kulfi falooda -This is best saved for the last.Must try at punjab grill.Taste it yourself to know why!!!

Overall a great satisfying meal .Tastewise its fabulous ...PAAN SHOT served at the end of the meal was highlight of the meal. Highly recommended for Mughlai food lovers

Go for it...

The service, much like the food, left much to be desired. Despite the staff’s apparent efforts, the overall experience was marred by sluggish responses and a noticeable lack of attentiveness.
