My friends and I decided to go bowling on last Tuesday night. One of our friends was leaving India the next day. Turns out Tuesday night is a party night at game palacio. So we had to pay 4000 rupees cover charge each. Didn’t plan on drinking but had to cause just spent soo much money. Then after getting into a night club that was worse than a Virar fast local, we were made to wait for one hour in the insanely loud nightclub type of a situation, which by the way I’m pretty sure is illegal itself, the level at which they play music. As a music professional, that is unnecessarily loud, and also way about the legal dB sound pressure levels. One friend has actually has had hearing problems after that night, and I’m pretty sure Game Palacio has definitely made some of their customers deaf.
Which we went through that painful, Guantanamo like, torture our turn to bowl in this extremely packed place had finally come. All the game palacio lanes are screwed. They’ve all got drift, so if you seriously want to bowl, don’t go there at all. Half way through our game we were made to 3 times, pretty much forced to by borderline thuggish behavior. The organizers running the show are young kids who are possibly way i over their heads. While I support young entrepreneurs, I don’t support scammers. And these guys were either that or just plain incompetent. One of the young organizers assured me and even yelled at us to move to lane no. 1. After moving back and forth 3 times we finally settled on lane 1. Not only did lane one have drift, but the AC over it was leaking right at the start of the lane, and when I informed the people working there the just wiped it (only for a puddle to form in the next 30 seconds) and said it’s no big deal. If I’m paying 1000 rupees per person for one game of bowling, I expect a proper, playable lane.
After that one game we left cause the waiting was soo long. We ending up paying 21k to drink when we didn’t want to and barely get to bowl. As much as I loved this place when it started, it sucks now. Save your money, go to smash or shots. Don’t go to game...
Read moreI recently visited Palacio for a night out with friends and family, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. Let me break it down for you:
Ambiance and Atmosphere (4/5 ⭐): Palacio has a fantastic ambiance and a buzzing atmosphere. The interior design and decor create a pleasant and inviting environment. It's a great place to relax and enjoy time with loved ones. They have a lot of games available which is a big plus.
Food Quality and Pricing (3/5 ⭐): While the ambiance was superb, I must admit that the food didn't entirely live up to the expectations, especially considering the prices. The menu offered a decent variety, but some dishes seemed overpriced for the portion sizes and taste. Palacio should definitely up their game in this department to justify the cost.
Service and Staff (3/5 ⭐): One area where Palacio could use some improvement is in their service. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed during our visit, and there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness. Better training on how to interact with customers would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.
Overall Experience (3/5 ⭐): In conclusion, Palacio is a good place to chill with friends and family due to its vibrant atmosphere and comfortable setting. However, it falls short in terms of food quality and service, which is a shame considering the higher prices. With some adjustments, it has the potential to become an outstanding destination for dining and relaxation.
I hope this review helps both the management and potential customers in making informed decisions about their...
Read moreMy experience at The Game Palacio in Mumbai was nothing short of disappointing. The major issue we encountered was the extremely rude behavior of the management. We had purchased tickets from "Sort My Scene," but when we arrived at the venue, the management refused to honor them. When we questioned this discrepancy, they simply argued that they could do whatever they wanted, leaving us feeling frustrated and cheated.
The response we received when we called the provided number to seek clarification was equally disheartening. The person on the other end of the line was unapologetically rude and dismissive, showing no concern for the inconvenience caused to us as customers.
The overall behavior exhibited by the management and staff was nothing short of disgusting and pathetic. As patrons, we expect a certain level of respect and professionalism, which was entirely lacking at The Game Palacio.
Considering this experience, I urge others to think twice before patronizing this establishment. Such disrespectful treatment is not acceptable, and it is essential to support businesses that value their customers. There are many other great places to visit in Mumbai that will likely provide a more enjoyable and pleasant experience.
In conclusion, I recommend boycotting The Game Palacio until they rectify their behavior and treat their customers with the respect they deserve. Mumbai offers a plethora of entertainment options, and it would be wise to explore those...
