Awsome Chhole Bhature at this very ancient shop in CP.

When it comes to indulging in the rich flavors of North Indian cuisine, one dish that stands out is the Chhole Bhature. Originating from the vibrant streets of Delhi, this mouthwatering combination of spicy chickpeas (chhole) and deep-fried bread (bhature) has captured the hearts and taste buds of food enthusiasts across the globe.

Bhogal Chhole Bhature is a small outlet in the backlanes of CP, near Janoath...but has gained fame for decades due to its exceptional culinary gems which is the Chhole Bhature. It is undoubtedly one of its prized creations. The dish reflects the vibrant and diverse food culture of the capital city, showcasing a harmonious blend of spices, textures, and aromas that leaves a lasting impression.

What sets Bhogal Chhole Bhature apart from other variations of this dish is the careful selection and usage of spices. The chickpeas are simmered in a luscious blend of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and garam masala, creating a flavorful gravy that is both rich and tantalizing. The bhature, on the other hand, are deep-fried bread made with a combination of dough, yogurt, and baking soda, resulting in a soft and fluffy texture.

One cannot simply overlook the unique accompaniments that elevate the entire experience. The dish traditionally comes with pickles, tangy Kachalu ka Achar and sliced onions, adding a fiery and tangy twist to the overall taste. It is truly a feast for the senses, with the combination of spicy, tangy, and savory flavors that dance on the palate.

Bhogal Chhole Bhature has become a beloved street food across Delhi. Its popularity can be attributed to its delightful taste, filling nature, and the ability to comfort and satisfy even the most discerning food lover.

So, the next time you crave something hearty and flavorful, make sure to savor the enticing delight that is Bhogal Chhole Bhature. Let your taste buds embark on a remarkable culinary journey that encompasses the essence of North Indian cuisine.

Also, dont forget to have the Paan flavored Lassi there as well. They have many flavours, but i tried Paan,...

Bhogals Cholle Bhature is a very famous street food stop among all the food lovers. This place is located in Connaught Place. Bhogals is opened in Delhi for more than 60 years and still is one of the most demanding street food shops of Delhi . I always wanted to taste the real Delhi style Cholle Bhature and here we landed into famous "Bhogals".

Bhogals offers a variety of dishes with its speciality in Cholle Bhature and Cholle Kulche. Aloo Paratha and Cholle chawal are also served here. Two types of Cholle are served here. One with the gravy, in which are Palak Kofta, potatoes and beautifully cooked Cholle and is served with Bhature. The gravy type Cholle is very special because of a bit of tanginess provided by Kachalu ka Achar along with the spices. While the other one is served dry. It contained meshed Cholle, meshed potatoes, spices and fresh green chillies and lemon at the top to finish it up. Kulchas are served with it. Garnishing elements are green fresh coriander and sprinkled chat masala which adds it own flavour to give Cholle a new high. Dried cholle was very tasty and chatpati which freshened my mouth. Cholle with gravy was very delicious in its own way with addition of Palak Kofta to it.

Best part were Bhature and Kulcha. I have never eaten such soft and crunchy Bhature ever in my life. Bhature are brought into shape by hands and not rolled, which again is the famous way of making it. Almost all of Delhi's street food Cholle Bhature vendors uses this method only. Bhature are fried in a Tawa but at the service you will not observe any oil dripping off from the Bhature unlike the others, which I found it best. Kulcha too was very good in taste. To be honest, I liked Bhature the most.

Bhogals is a must try place for all those who have not...

I recently visited Bhogal Cholle-Bhature Walla and had the opportunity to taste their famous Chole Bhature. Overall, I had a good experience with some notable aspects to consider.

Let's start with the highlight—the taste. The Chole Bhature at Bhogal Cholle-Bhature Walla had a nice flavor. The chole had a decent amount of spices, offering a well-balanced taste. The bhature, though not mentioned specifically, were fluffy and adequately cooked. They were soft on the inside with a slightly crispy texture on the outside. The combination of chole and bhature worked well together, and it was a satisfying meal.

However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Firstly, the location and overall ambiance of the restaurant could be better managed. Depending on the specific location, it might be congested or lack adequate seating arrangements, which can affect the overall dining experience. It would be more enjoyable if they could enhance the dining environment.

Despite this, if you are primarily focused on the food itself, Bhogal Cholle-Bhature Walla is worth a try. The taste of their Chole Bhature is nice and satisfying, making it a decent option for Cholle Bhature enthusiasts. Just be prepared for a potentially crowded or less-than-ideal...

If you don't have enemy, you can be your own. Just have these worst bhature of my life. No taste, just too -too spicy. I was there for the first time and sure never go there or suggest anyone. In fact, they should go to any bhature wala in Delhi and taste that. Nagpal and Sitaram always best. Even many more. Heard it's too old shop but such unhygienic conditions are unbelievable. All food blogger apprised them are sure paid. We two could not finish one plate because of too spicy. I spoke to many people there and all were sweating like anything. A couple with almost 6 feet tall guy and tall girl were arguing on ordering two Plates and both left their food on the table. Other side a family also left the bhaturas there. Another family was actually struggling. They were selling soft drinks and Lassi more than bhature. My son chose Kulcha over bhature but even that was worst and they charged 75 for that. Once again no taste and just imli water on boiled Mattar, that's it. In short taste was miles away from their food. So guys stay away and rest on you. Kulcha to be avoided even @30 forget 75. Bhature to be avoided even if free You can see me eating and sweating and leftover bhaturas by people in another pic with my son taking help of chilled water
