Located in the Hub and Heart of the Eateries, Teddy Boy is the Coolest and Sassiest Restrobar in the Connaught Place. Located Right at the end of the Janpath Road on the Outer Circle, this British styled Restro Bar opens up a LIT Decor and Ambience for their guest.

You will be glued to this Retro-themed gastropod the moment you enter. The decor is mesmerizing and Glamorous. You will feel sitting in an English bar with high ceilings, dimly-lit Edison bulbs, rustic seating bricked walls, listening to foot tapping Retro music. The famous Britain signages on the walls makes the experience truly nostalgic. Not many know that this property is the brainchild of none other than Priyank Sukhija, Delhi's most successful Restaurateurs, but the vibes says it all.

I loved the place. It's truly Vintage and classy and you can sit down and enjoy their innovative cocktails with the classic and sizzling Global food platters. We were there for an early luncheon and sat down for quite some time enjoying drinks and food.

-We started with ordering Teddy Bear Signature cocktail Beer Margarita. Awesome presentation with inverted Flavored Beer dipping in Tequila, Triple Sec, and Lime. This was truly British in taste.

-Another drink that needs a Bow is Cosmopolitan Bunta. Never had a Cosmopolitan in Desi Banta touch, but this classic beauty combined with neo techniques uplifted the entire taste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Being a Gastropub, and showcasing British subculture, the food here is simple and classic, yet fusions make it a Laziz affair. We preferred finger foods and tapas to go along with an early luncheon.

Started with Chilli Garlic Chicken dumplings, which were beautifully chilli garlic glazed pan seared dumplings, with delicious juicy chicken filling served with in-house mint and chilli garlic dips.

Thai Chilli Basil Fish was the crispiest and flavorsome fish I had in ages. Wok tossed with oyster, soya sauce and basil, this was so delicious.

A treat to look at Teddy Fiery Prawns are a delight to have here. Crispy fried prawns and sesame toast in schezwan mayo is served in a cocktail glass. Crispy and juicy they are finger licking good.

A Must try Crumbed Mushrooms served with Spicy Tomato Salsa is a visual treat. Cheesilicious and juicy, these are crispy bombs that melt-in mouth. Loved them a lot.

We were almost filled, so decided to order 1 big portion of Chicken Shish Taouk, which comprised of juicy chicken skewers marinated in Arabic spices and are served with hummus, cacik, Arabic pickle & Pita bread. This was filling and yum.

Last, but not least, we ended our grub with a Decadent Dessert Dark chocolate fudge Brownie with ice cream. They don't have many desserts to offer, but they don't even have to as this was a PERFECT one. Fudgy, gooey and delicious. The best one that I had in ages.

Overall, Teddy Boy is a Gastro pub that offers you best around Food, Ambience, Drinks and good times. The staff was warm and courteous and we had...

Horrible!!

I rarely start reviews with harsh words, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I never expected such a disappointing experience.

It was a huge mistake to suggest this resto-bar to my friends for what we hoped would be a good time, filled with meaningful discussions and shared experiences, especially since we were meeting after such a long time almost 20 years.

Although, this was my second visit to this place. My first visit had been quite positive—the food, service, and ambiance were all good. The environment was peaceful, making it easy to have conversations while enjoying food and drinks with my friends. In such a setting, even the slightly overpriced food and drinks didn’t bother us because everything else made up for it.

But, this time, it was a completely different story.

Initially, everything seemed fine. We settled in, started chatting, and placed our order. Things took a turn when a live singing performance began. While live music is common in bars and is usually welcomed when it remains at a moderate volume, so we also decided to go with it and continue our conversation. However, as the performance went on, the volume kept increasing.

As the volume kept becoming shrill, I called a waiter and politely requested him to lower the volume. He went away, did nothing, and then returned, avoiding eye contact. As the music grew even louder, I asked another staff member, who appeared to be a senior, to lower the volume, but again, nothing was done.

It felt like they simply didn’t care about the customers. The volume was unbearably loud—what should have been entertainment turned into pure torture for ears. It was impossible to continue our conversation, so we decided to cut our evening short and leave.

When the bill arrived, they had proudly added service charges. I fail to understand how they could charge for “service” when there was none! We requested to have the service charge removed, which they did.

The issues didn’t stop there. When we paid the cash, the waiter returned with the change—but it was ₹100 short. We called the waiter again, but he ignored us. After some persistence, another waiter finally returned with the correct balance.

As for the food, it was mediocre at best. However, given the unpleasant experience, we couldn’t even enjoy it.

I feel incredibly guilty in front of my friends for suggesting this place. Their time and mood were ruined, and I regret convincing them to come here.

POV: Music and singing are enjoyable till they are sweet to ears. It’s fine to play a song or music for pleasure, but forcing people to endure excessively loud music is nothing short of noise pollution and torture.

I will never visit this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone who values meaningful conversations or a pleasant dining...

Tucked on the 1st floor of N Block in CP, Plum has a vibrant, multicultural vibe—part café by day, part retro lounge by night . Expect dim lighting, leather sofas, quirky décor, and a dash of disco-era flair. Google reviews average around 4.1/5, highlighting its spacious setup and vintage charm .

⸻

☕ Coffee & Daytime Feels By day, it’s a chill café with quality coffee (rich cappuccinos, flavored brews). Visitors praise the creamy cappuccino and avocado toast combo—great for both a quick meet-up or a relaxed mid-afternoon session . The cold brews and caramel shakes are worth a try too ().

⸻

🍽️ Food Highlights The menu is quite diverse—Asian dim sums, Afghani chicken, pasta, sushi, pizzas, and more. Regulars rave about: • Afghani momos/dimsums (authentic and flavorful) • Barbecue chicken + olive pizza (“bomb!” says one reviewer) • Tuscan chicken, lemon butter fish, seafood poke, veg Lebanese platter—well executed and fresh • Tiramisu & Biscoff cheesecake are top-tier dessert picks

Some dishes (like white sauce pasta) can be a hit or miss, but overall consistency is solid ().

⸻

🍸 Cocktails & Evening Fun When evening rolls in, Plum transforms into a stylish lounge with creative cocktails like “Thai Me Up” and “Popcorn Martini” (think unique combos like popcorn syrup + coffee bourbon) . Classic drinks like LIT and Margarita also get applause for being perfectly balanced . Bartenders and staff seem well-versed, ensuring smooth pours and good service ().

⸻

👥 Service & Crowd Staff are generally friendly—names like Ajit, Sahul, Rajender are mentioned for good hospitality . Service can slow down on busy weekends, so mid-week visits are smoother (). Crowd varies: calm daytime, livelier evening with live music ().

⸻

💰 Pricing Expect around ₹2,000 per couple (excluding alcohol), with beers around ₹300 a pint . Considering the vibe and experience, most find it...
