I recently visited the Domino's outlet in M-42 Connaught Place with a friend, and the experience was absolutely TERRIBLE. I have never encountered such disrespectful and unprofessional staff at any restaurant before. Despite placing our order through the Domino's app and completing the payment, the staff outright refused to give us our order.
We waited over an hour, repeatedly asking about the status, only to be brushed off with a dismissive "wait". After wasting 1 hour in waiting and getting dismissed, when i again approached them the staff finally told that our order was "on hold" because they needed a confirmation call on the registered phone number before they would process it. Shockingly, no one had informed us of this new Domino's "call policy" despite our multiple inquiries about our order. When I questioned why this wasn't mentioned earlier, they claimed that they only communicate this over the phone, not in person. This makes no sense—if I’m standing there asking for my order, why would a call be necessary, and why wasn’t I told about this requirement?
When I showed them my order receipt in the app, clearly showing the registered phone number, they didn’t help. Instead, they accused me of possibly being an "imposter" trying to steal an order, despite my completed payment and valid order receipt. The insult was unbelievable.
Even worse, a staff member from the kitchen—a man in red who was continuously arguing despite listening to our query—started shouting at us. He bluntly said, "I will not give you this order; do whatever you want," and even threatened to tear up the bill. When I asked for his name, he refused. This level of unprofessionalism was shocking.
During this incident, I tried calling the Domino's customer helpline multiple times, but no one answered. It’s disheartening, but maybe this lack of accountability is why the staff felt empowered to behave so disrespectfully with the customers as they know no action will be taken against them and they can play safe by hiding their identity.
Domino’s, is this really how you treat your customers? What's the point of offering app orders if they’re disregarded and payment confirmations are meaningless? Then we all should uninstall the app then if app orders are not considered valid. Customers have a right to know the status of their order and to be treated with respect and to given right information.
After this experience, I won’t be ordering from...
Read moreDominos have a great dining experience about its good food and a good environment. most of the times I order the basic Veg Margherita or veg double corn. Kids usually order the pan version and it gets ready piping hot in around 20 minutes. My experience about pizza: it presents soft till the edges. good amount of cheese give nice flavour to the vegetarian pizza. Weather it is vegetarian paradise, cloud-9, taco, garlic bread, tomato cheese pizza with cheese burst, you will fall in love to them. I don’t eat non veg or onion garlic ones but kids say that chicken pizzas are good but chicken if cooked more may improve it. They relish choco lava cake too, it is their all-time favorite and it never disappoints. Sometimes it is extremely disappointing about the domino service. As I ordered pizza online on new year eve from my location but my order did not got placed on time also the money got deducted from my account. So I remain stuck from ordering it to some other options. It took more than 4 hours to get delivered when kids were hungry and waiting direly. But then I ask it should not take orders if can NOT be served properly. See Domino's is serving good tasty food so I request Domino's to provide a good service in-spite of fooling customers. While enjoying your shopping or business one can opt for domino’s for quick supper. The seating here is little cramped when comparing to other Domino. This time I ordered thin crest tomato cheese pizza for the first time and believe it was amazing. Though I could not get anything cold to quench my thrust. It took time but yet the service was good and in order. I am not a big fan of Domino's because it is too pricey but yet I am impressed. The expectation of some basic standards in food quality goes true here. The location is easy to find with...
