Grappa Bar — Restaurant in New Delhi

This is the very first time I visited Grappa bar to have this amazing new cuisine they introduced few days back, the very famous food brand Burger & Lobster from UK, is in Delhi and they are in collaboration with Grappa bar which is in Shangri-La Hotel. Firstly I booked a table for two in the afternoon today via zomato and it got confirmed with in seconds. The time I visited the place the staff informed me that the bar is fully sold out for a gathering that was very rude & they shouldn’t have confirmed the booking then. After discussion they asked us to step in and gave us a small corner table with no comfortable seating. All the staff was totally busy in the event & nobody served basic’s. The staff asked us to order fast as we only have time till 9pm and we were standing at 8:10 that was very rude and unethical, we ordered mac & cheese lobster which priced 1800/- and lobster burger priced 2200/- with sides for extra 500/- the food was blank no taste I couldn’t taste any cheese and the burger was super dry and tasteless. The staff didn’t even served water, very poor service and very rude staff. If you are planning to visit Grappa to have this special meal please don’t take any risks you will waste your time, money, instead of this you can try burgers from Farzi cafe and Hard rock cafe in CP they have the best burgers in town. He drew us in with his charming smile and easy style, the antithesis of a carnival barker. It was Hemant, one of my favorite staffers from Grappa. I think he is relatively new there but we cant stop singing the praises of him. Convival, smart, polite and oh so talented in the art of mixology. A hearty "Congratulations!" to the talented Grappa torchbearers aka team for their kind hospitality. Hemant was missed as he finished his shift early but what wonderful handover given to Ajay Tomar and Brijesh for keeping us in high spirits literally and figuratively till 3:30 in pukka dilli for our liquid libations. Both were speaking the same hospitality language seamlessly in executing their services. We were just in awe. We are coming back and only when Hemant and his awesome mates are on board sailing the grappa...

Very bad experience. Food was very disappointing. Will not recommend this restaurant. We ordered some pizza, spring rolls, chicken dumplings and vegetables. Pizza felt like it was old and reheated. The spring rolls were very oily and felt like they were old and been reheated as well. The dumplings tasted bad. The service was also bad. The servers were not wearing gloves or shields. Servers were not responsive and had to be called to the table multiple times or reminded to get something. The drinks were ok. We asked the server to remove the ice and he came back with ice in the drinks still. The ambience was nice outside. Overall, it was not a good experience. Would not recommend you...
