Lazeez Affaire A suggestion to be renamed as Non Lazeez Affaire
Let me break it down for the ease of understanding,
Murg Kashmiri Shorba - Micro pieces of chicken, boiled probably so many hours ago, server in a so called saffron broth, only to be realised it is diluted milk based broth with haldi in it only for the color purpose, I understand kashmiri broth to be subtle but the broth we were served was far away from even being sublte broth, it was just colored diluted milk based water with micro pieces of tasteless chicken and of course not to miss the so called garnish with herbs, tasteless
Veg Clear Soup - Boiled vegetables served in hot water Vegetable stock would have been and should have been in the place of hot water served with boiled vegetables, again tasteless
Afghani Soya Chaap - Maida rolled to look like soya chaap topped with diluted cream, tandoor grilled in the most undercooked way possible, again tasteless
Afghani Murg - I wont even bother to explain how bad it was, so writing the same lines as of soya chaap Unfortunate Chicken leg pieces topped with diluted cream, tandoor grilled in the most undercooked way possible, garnished with herbs that looked like they fell on the plate by mistake, again tasteless
Lal Maas - Mutton Curry served here was a Disgrace to the legendary name that is Lal Maas Too salty to the extent that we could not eat at least one piece of mutton, chilly paste base so bad, made us regret our decision of choosing the curry from the very first taste of the so called Lal Maas curry
Ajwani Parantha - Salty beyond eating, unevenly burnt, flaky but thick so not good at all
Nawabi Tarkari Biryani - Dry, tasteless and more importantly NO SALT at all, for the last time, tasteless
Let me talk about the only tasty thing that we had was the one and only onions sprinkled with salt and spices served with green chutney.
After each dish served, we were hoping that the next dish would be good but our hopes were left unanswered like Lazeez Affaire food left our hunger unaddressed.
And when it comes to people trying to serve the customers, there was not even H in the word Hospitality.
This was our Non Lazeez Affaire, the most unfortunate...

We had Relatives from Over seas and chose this restaurant for a Dinner on 12 March 2025. It was an unfortunate day where in the Restaurant manager was day off.
We had a mixed Food likings of Veg majorly & 3-4 Non vegetarians as well. The snacks seems to be find and goof in taste though the servers were muffled so as whom to serve first. we had ordered for couple of snacks in first round and in running helpings ordered 3 more. They absolutely forgot to get Paneer tikka and post serving of Main Course plates, Empty plates were cleared and then last pending starter which they forgot to place in Kitchen was served. The entire sequence of serving of food was like a head less chicken and the servers who seems to be experiences did a Major goof up.
The paneer was a disaster in main course and they recommended that its a most selling dish. The dal makhni was also not cooked properly and had rawness and skin of lentils in mouth. The first thing which was placed on tables while serving the main course was Breads. By the time it was served to us the breads already lost their temperatures and became chewy. Over all a Painful experience to showcase guest and relatives from over seas Norway and memories of a Bad experience will remain for years to come. It may do a remarkable job and earn huge profits, but overall its a Shabby restaurant just run of the mill.
Its an unsaid rule that Ladies on the table are to be served first. The Main courses were extremely disappointing.
Their Beverages in shabby glass with no ice served was a jerk for me with type of service given to customers in that Restaurant. It was not even chilled...
Read moreI went here on Sunday along with family. A family member had suggested this place. On entering what catches your eye is the golden art piece hanging from the Centre of the ceiling. It was really loud. It should be toned down a little I feel. The harmony of the place doesn't appear to be balanced. Ambience was fine although.
They serve a welcome drink, that is served in shot glasses. They had strawberry and kesar flavors. We liked both. So we ordered 2 portions each of Afghani chaap, Dahi Kebab for starters. Dahi Kebab were nice. But we didn't like the chaap, it was quite a huge piece of soya, and the marination wasn't done enough, which was on the outer layers. It was quite bland. I won't suggest this for starters. Next for the main course we ordered Paneer makhni, daal makhni and dum Aloo along with breads. Apparently, their Dum Aloo has no aloo, just the gravy. We had to specially ask them to put potatoes in it, and the staff gave some weird expressions when asked to get potatoes in the gravy. The paneer dish and daal makhni were nice and delectable.
Again the breads were a let down, most of the breads were burnt or hard. We got almost 2 baskets of breads to be baked again. But the worst was the poor service...initially we asked for menu and the person came back after 5 mins with just one menu card for a table of 12 people. And when we were done we asked for the cheque. It took them 15 mins just to get our bill.
Their service and some dishes need to be really...
