RUDELY COLD staff with fake smiles and full of attitude especially the male cashier who puts the menu on the table very kindly BUT repeats the process until n unless u do not spend half of ur salary on their decade old packaged, stale, outraged, poisonous so called "food". Cookies made out of tons of MAIDA and 2 Peanuts.. dt too hard to find. CHAI served with so much proud but fails to meet the expectation as it is cold, served with baby spoon. ICED TEA which is supposed to be made out of ice and tea.. is made out of lemon and water. We were flabbergasted to know dt iced tea can taste like this as well.
The female manager pretends to be so sweet but was bitter more than a kaadha. She comes to ur table giving sweet affirmations but on her way back.. gives bombastic side-eye. Both the cashier and the manager look at you from their desk while u r having ur food. I will never, ever allow for my then unformed mind that produced much of my still held affinities from my childhood to dictate terms. Fresh shortbread is like such sweetness of milk, a faint sort of sweet caught after the taste. Lord have mercy and King have mercy for the cookies baked at the Tin Whistle. May the British find within their hearts to stamp upon these cookies the same Scottish prickly thorns.
