Richy Rich offers a delightful journey into the world of frozen treats, with a menu that promises a satisfying experience for every palate. On a recent visit, I had the pleasure of trying three of their signature items: Kaju Badam Pista, Desert Storm, and their Sugar Free Ice Cream.
The Kaju Badam Pista was a classic done right. The taste was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of cashews, almonds, and pistachios. Each spoonful was a delightful blend of textures, from the smooth ice cream to the satisfying crunch of the nuts. It's a flavor that feels both familiar and indulgent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys traditional nut-based ice creams.
Next up was Desert Storm, a creation that truly lived up to its name. This flavor was a pleasant surprise—an intriguing mix of tastes that offered something different from the usual. The unique combination of ingredients resulted in a complex and layered experience. It’s a flavor for the adventurous, someone looking to explore beyond the classic options. While it may not be for everyone, its originality makes it a standout choice on the menu.
Finally, I tried their Sugar Free Ice Cream. Often, sugar-free alternatives can fall short on taste and texture, but this was a remarkable exception. It was surprisingly flavorful and had the same creamy, smooth consistency as a regular ice cream. The sweetness was well-balanced, proving that you don't have to sacrifice flavor for a healthier option. It's an excellent choice for those who are health-conscious or have dietary restrictions but still want to enjoy a delicious dessert.
To top it all off, the chocolate spoon was a brilliant and delightful addition. It wasn't just a utensil; it was an integral part of the dessert itself. The spoon was solid and rich, offering a satisfying snap when bitten into and melting smoothly in the mouth. The high-quality chocolate added a perfect, indulgent layer to each spoonful of ice cream, elevating the entire experience from a simple dessert to something truly special.
Overall, my visit to Richy Rich was a very positive experience. Each item I tried was well-executed and delivered on its promise. The quality of the ingredients and the unique flavor profiles make it a destination worth...
Read moreWe went there twice during our stay in pondicherry. This restaurant was nearby our hotel.First day order-Veg sandwich, paneer sandwich, spicy cheese sandwich and lemon soda. They took around 40 mins to prepare order. After reminding them twice, we could see staff just sitting but not preparing the order.Spicy cheese sandwich was ok , other two tasted garbage.
Next day we went in afternoon again, because we were very tiered and Did not wanted to walk down to other restaurants, and hoping 2nd time good service, but we were again disappointed. We ordered salty Lassi, burger , frenth fries and brownie. Brownie and frenth fries were good, but burger and Lassi were worst that we have ever tasted. After again waiting for 35-40 mins, they gave is Lassi which was sweet, we returned it bcoz our order was salary, they exchanged. Burger bun was ok but patty inside was hard like stone, when I took first bite , I literally thought some plastic is inside bcoz I was not able to bite, I opened it to check, patty literally sounded if knocked, I was hungry and again tried to bite it , and se weird masala was added to patty and tasted like Sambhar masala.I was failed to eat it, and left the burger in the plate. We were around to catch our bus for our destination and literally wasted our time and still left hungry and frustrated from this restaurant. In my opinion don't visit this restaurant if you are very hungry and try only ice creams...
Read morein my opinion the best ice cream shop/richy rich in the town. its got it all, taste, ambience, cleanliness, views, U name it.
its got a direct view of the beach. It has a cozy, spacious, clean air coned setting. it is very well maintained and hygienic. what more could you ask for?
The only downside for me was the portion size; you receive less for a huge bill, which might be justified by its location and quality.
It also had the biggest menu I have ever seen in an icecream parlour except baskin Robbins. I recently tried the lichi boba milkshake for the first time and it was well above my expectations. I also recommend the chocolate ripple icecream.
I want the management to check the hand sanitizer dispenser, it wasn't working properly during my last visit.
If you are not feeling good, late at night. You don't need to worry, they are opened till 11.45pm.
If you come to pondy pls don't miss...
