Eating at Wildfish Bistro is an exciting experience. It has a beautiful outdoor dining area by the sea. The chef showed us the fresh catch of the day. He explained where the fish and other seafood came from. He explained how they follow sustainable fishing methods and only buy from small local fishermen. The food was excellent. You must try their lobster soup, pasta with shellfish. their meen ginger curry and crab curry with kal dosa is divine. And the chorizo bacon rice is a must have.

One of the worst experience so far in any resturant. Food was below average, worse or worstest service, inefficient staffs including manager, no respect for customer. We ordered food and received after 2 hrs with cold soup. After several follow ups and waiting for a long they said resturant is closed. They don't have our main course order ready. That was 10pm in the night when all other options were unavailable. There were almost all the customers were unhappy and were raising voice for not getting food and proper service. For bill also they made us wait for half n hour.

Sorry for the long review but I couldn't control for the bad experience me and my family had here.

Strongly recommending a big NO to such resturants. Please don't fool yourself as it's close by beach...

For days when you think you need to live more “shellfish”-ly 🦞🐟🦐🐠🦑

Exclusive seafood restaurant, Wildfish Bistro, is now open at the Promenade Hotel in Pondicherry.

It’s wild! They have beautifully managed to combine the unique flavours of Creole and French cuisine with local spices.

I tried the most exquisite dishes - from bacon rice to lobster to fresh grilled prawns to saffron and thyme cocktails... this place really stands out from the other (seafood) restaurants.

We were served an elaborate 12 course meal and trust us, you’ll leave wanting more.

P.S. The ambience and seafront view is just a bonus. 🌊

It’s time to be shell-fish! Visit the Wildfish Bistro for the best locally...
