Vaishali established decades ago, this iconic restaurant has won the hearts of locals, students, and tourists alike. It’s renowned for its timeless charm, consistent quality, and welcoming ambiance.
Ambiance & Space: Vaishali has a relaxed, old-school charm with both indoor and outdoor seating. The open-air section, surrounded by greenery, adds to its cozy, inviting atmosphere. Despite being one of the busiest restaurants in Pune, it manages to maintain a pleasant and lively vibe. However, due to its popularity, expect crowds, especially during weekends and peak hours.
Service & Hygiene: The staff is efficient and friendly, always ready to accommodate requests. Even with the high customer footfall, the service is remarkably swift. The restaurant is well-maintained, ensuring cleanliness in the dining areas and kitchen.
Food: Vaishali is famous for its South Indian dishes, with the masala dosa, uttapam, and idli-sambar being must-tries. Their signature butter cheese toast and SPDP (Sev Puri Dahi Puri) are also hugely popular. The filter coffee here is a local favorite, offering the perfect finish to a hearty meal. The food is consistently flavorful, prepared with fresh ingredients, and has a unique touch that keeps people coming back.
Pricing: While it’s slightly on the higher side compared to other eateries in the area, the quality, taste, and overall experience justify the prices. It’s worth every penny if you're looking to indulge in a memorable dining experience.
Conclusion: Vaishali isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. It’s the go-to spot for a leisurely breakfast, a catch-up with friends, or even a quick solo meal. Whether you're a Pune resident or a visitor, dining at Vaishali is a rite of passage. Its legacy of great food, fast service, and nostalgic ambiance has earned it a special place in the hearts...
