Nestled in the heart of Amritsar, Brothers' Restaurant is a culinary gem that promises an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. My recent visit was highlighted by their absolutely amazing thalis, a testament to the rich flavors of Indian cuisine. I opted for the Special Indian Thali, a vibrant platter that was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Each bowl was a delightful surprise, from the perfectly spiced curries to the fluffy rotis and aromatic rice. The variety and quality of the dishes were truly exceptional, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. My wife, who chose the Small Thali with paneer, was equally impressed. The paneer was incredibly soft and fresh, melting in her mouth with every bite. The portion size was perfect, offering a satisfying taste of the restaurant's signature dishes without being overwhelming. Beyond the food, what truly elevated our experience was the attentive staff. Their warmth and efficiency made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. They were quick to assist and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, contributing to a positive and relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance itself was very nice—clean, well-lit, and comfortable, providing a perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal. Brothers' Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking very good food, attentive service, and a delightful dining experience...
Read moreBrothers Amritsari Dhaba is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic meal in Amritsar. I have previously visited Bharawan Da Dhaba and Kesar Da Dhaba, both of which are well-known for their dal makhni and claim it’s slow-cooked for 12 hours. However, I personally found the dal makhni at Brothers Dhaba to be richer in flavor and more satisfying compared to the others. It had a perfect creamy texture and balanced spices that truly stood out.
Their kulcha was decent but not extraordinary, while the special lachha parantha thali and chai were both excellent. The chole, in particular, were full of flavor and had that authentic Amritsari touch that’s hard to find elsewhere. The food overall tasted fresh and comforting, giving the real essence of Punjabi cuisine.
The only drawback I noticed was the cleanliness — the place could be maintained better in terms of hygiene. However, considering the quality and taste of the food, it easily makes up for that shortcoming.
Overall, Brothers Amritsari Dhaba offers a genuine, flavorful dining experience with rich Punjabi dishes. I would definitely recommend visiting it if you want to enjoy a delicious, authentic meal...
Read moreFirst and foremost, Billing at this outlet is a concern. First they present a bill with GST and there is no GST number mentioned on their bill. When you ask for a bill to take out then they will replace the old bill with a new bill and this new bill will have their GST number and other details. It's something they cheat on and that's why they are given 1 Star rating on their services.
They try to do this smartly so that it can go unnoticed by many. Also if you make the payment on the first bill they will take away the bill copy with them and if you tell them you need a bill copy then they come up with excuses that they need to do bill entry in register and then they will replace it with a new bill..
We reached here at around 10:45 PM and the outlet was open for done-in. Food quality was good. Ambience can get better as it's a hyped restaurant for tourists in Amritsar. Loved the sweet lassi and we...
