Cafe Edelweiss — Restaurant in Rajasthan

A cozy small eatery usually filled up no matter the hour u visit, so there could be a slight waiting. Visited the place did not get place immediately, had to wait 20min odd, place is not reserved as per your no, so one haz to stay there to get a seat. Ordered a Apple crumble, Cheese Omlette, Ham, Ham & Egg Sandwich, Cappuccino, hot chocolate. The food quality was great, serving time was decent. Service was decent, a little pricy though. Staff could do better when assisting customers who walk-in, with waiting time and actually attending them rather than looking at their faces and ignoring them. Also they could make note of where the customers are seated and who has ordered what item, rather than going around with the place asking everyone if it's their order, since one has to plate the order at the counter, then take a seat and visited mostly...

In my opinion, this place is quite overrated. We ordered 6 items, and out of those, only a couple were good in taste (the Biscoff pie and the Walnut Choco pie). The rest were just okay, and the walnut brownie was actually bad.

Other than that, I didn’t find anything special about this place. The menu items are pretty common and available everywhere. If the taste isn't extraordinary either, then the high prices don't really make sense for a cafe like this.

The cafe has two seating areas, one on the ground floor, which is small and cozy, and another on the fourth floor, which you can only reach by stairs. My friend and I were quite eager to check out the top floor and the view, but it turned out to be very disappointing. There's really nothing special about the view. It was very basic.

A quaint and nice cafe. Initially, you will think of it as any other cafe selling fast food in Udaipur. But do not overlook it in the plethora of the cafes that dot the town now. We stopped by this cafe after visiting Gangaur ghat because we were too tired to walk. Firstly ordered a hot cup of masala chai and they made it fresh and just as per my taste. Wonderful it was. Then, we went for white sauce pasta and were thankful for having selected this cafe. Finally, ordered pesto veg grilled sandwich. We were quite surprised with the taste and happily so.
