99 Lounge & Grill — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Although this place is in a nice location & is reasonably priced, it is A DANGEROUS place & the reasons to be aware of this place are as follows : The Waiters/Managers/Bar Staff are running a nexus and they cheat with the Bill, they cheat with the Drinks. They suddenly came to us & stated that the last 4 drinks we ordered were unable to be entered into the system and therefore that amount would not appear on the bill and will have to be paid in cash separately. When brought up with the Manager, he had nothing to say for this. They are all hand in gloves with each other. The MOST DANGEROUS part of this place is the fact that Hooligans, Unruly, Obnoxious crowds of people who get drunk due to the low pricing range create a RUCKUS, especially on the roof top. They harrass other guests. They get very drunk and the management turns a blind eye. OPEN HARRASMENT takes place and complaints were raised to the Manager, we also drew the attention of the entire staff - yet, they let the Hooligans go away. Some of those Hooligans, came forward to initiate a fist-fight, and the restaurant staff just stood like buffalos and they didn't move an inch. Finally, when we rang the Police, the unruly hooligans (they were from Kerala State and spoke in Malayalam - thereby bringing disgrace to their State) got alerted, they nearly started shivering, realising their mistake and they RAN from the restaurant. Surprisingly, through all this, the entire staff of 99 Bar & Grill, stood like buffalos and didn't move an inch to help solve the situation. The owner of this place is being taken for a ride by his employees (right from Manager - Mr Mahesh, a so called committee member - Mr Dass and all the Waiters, especially a waiter from Orissa called Viso(Viswananand) who is a hardened crook of the first order who has constantly cheated with Drinks, Bills(but we suspect he could be forced to do this by the Management staff). The owner is this place should take serious note and do a complete change of staff or else, soon someday, there is going to be a situation that may go...

This time it was kind of a bad experience just because of the service. But which we had informed the management they were very reasonable in removing the service charge further understood the issue and calmed us.

Mocktails were okish. Custom cocktails are not available they only the signature one's

Food was good, but later the quantity got decreased when we asked the waiter. He said you should have told upfront. Valid point. So please be upfront and share the feedbacks.

Parking is there, after 4 o clock Valets pops up and they will collect the key from table. Which was good and nice.

I had a great experience last time, so took my friends. Kind of disappointed this time. Hope they make it better soon. Good luck 99 Team....

At first, we thought they charging a reasonable price for Booze, since the ambience is good, we never mind the price. The thing is they added 10% of your total bill as a Service charge(image attached) even though they charge more than the original price in the shops.... The fun part is the Service is not up to the mark, we waited for our side dishes for almost 45 mins...😜 The good thing is the beers are chilled and served in a variety of options like a Glass, Bottle, Pitcher(5 glasses) and tower beer(not sure the name)... Look carefully at the menu card even though the ambience is dark and menu card is also black... Bcoz, when we enquire about service charge they told it is mentioned in the menu card like a...
