As a loyal patron of your restaurant chain, I felt compelled to share my recent contrasting experiences between the Ekkattuthangal branch and the Chromepet branch.
Having frequented the Ekkattuthangal branch numerous times, I've always been impressed by the exceptional service and the consistently high quality of food. The staff there go above and beyond to ensure that every customer is promptly attended to and served with care. Even during peak hours, they handle the rush gracefully, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
However, my recent visits to the Chromepet branch were far from satisfactory. Despite the presence of multiple cash counters, only one was operational, resulting in frustratingly long queues and delays in service. This lack of efficiency significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.
Moreover, I was disappointed by the limited food availability (14/04/2024), particularly after certain hours. I found that only dosa was available, and even then, I was informed of a 20-minute wait time. This was followed by an uncomfortable encounter with a member of staff who seemed disinterested in taking my order and even suggested that I move table, giving the impression that my patronage was unwelcome.
To add to the frustration, my recent visit on Monday 15/04/2024 at 8:30 AM revealed another setback – a shortage of items (Idly and pongal only were available during my visit) due to a purported gas issue. This unforeseen circumstance left me puzzled, as I've never encountered such problems at any other branch of A2B.
Overall, my experiences at the Chromepet branch have left me deeply disappointed, to the point where I have decided not to return. I sincerely hope that management takes these issues seriously and implements necessary improvements to uphold the reputation and standards of your esteemed...

I honestly never thought I would write a review like this for this place, but here we are. I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and always left satisfied, recommending it to friends and family because it was known for its flavorful, quality food. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was nothing short of a shock.
The food was extremely, overwhelmingly spicy—to the point where it felt like the spice was used to mask flavors rather than enhance them.inspite of despite of consistently saying them requested them to make no spicy or less spicy……This wasn’t a matter of a dish being a little hot; it was so intense that it became inedible and left us uncomfortable. I can tolerate a fair amount of spice, but this was excessive and completely out of balance, making it hard to enjoy any of the dishes we ordered.
What’s worse is that this restaurant built its reputation on great taste and consistency, and now it feels like that standard is completely gone. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place that once had a strong name for quality food let things slip to this level.
I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates their approach because, as it stands, I cannot recommend this place to anyone anymore. If things don’t change, they risk losing more loyal customers like me who used to trust and...
Read moreWent for a long morning drive and while returning stopped at Chrompet Adyar2B, restaurant for breakfast. Actually wanted to try out Tambaram Bhat's hotel, and went there to find it a mere shadow of its earlier days 😦😦!! Dingy lit, and looking shabby, didn't dare venture in. A2B, have no regrets, but I always wondered why they lack in giving good service! Not only here but quite a few branches 😕. There's plenty of tables, but only the ones near the food counter has service, where as table afar are 'Self service '- . We had to wait a bit, to occupy a "Serviceable" table. The distance between " No/Self Service" & "Serviceable" table area is just 1feet!! You mean to say , service waiters can't walk 1 feet extra to serve those tables. There didn't seem like short of staffs, a dozen of guys hanging out in the sweet savouries counters. 8am, I reckon, wouldn't be a gate crash for sweets. It's really puts u off. My wife smartly ordered Pongal & Poori. My Mini tiffin, felt really mini in the stomach and there's no coffee with it. But the Kesari was very much dipped in ghee, and I didn't want that taste to fade off. I really feel A2B should iron out these silly...
