I had the worst experience with Domino's for the first time. I don't know what changed, nobody from the restaurant seems to care about the customer and people tend to lie regarding the issues raised. I ordered night before yesterday and the delivery guy picked up the order and came but eventually i didn't received my order. I received only one missed call from the delivery guy after which i immediately gave a call back 4 times to which he picked up only 4th time only to tell that he went back to store and telling me that he called 5 times and also came to the door and knocked which was blunt lie as First, I was sitting right next to my flat main door, if he would have knocked I could have clearly heard, secondly, the door was not even latched it was partially open also whereas he said that nobody opened, as per him if he came he didn't even care to ring a bell which proves he didn't came to the door. Obviously I confronted him with all this but eventually he told me that he will ask the restaurant and call back. After waiting for sometime I didn't receive any call from restaurant or delivery guy. Then, I called the restaurant myself stating all the above things, to which they also told the same story of what delivery person told me and at some point started defending him also, eventually after arguing for sometime, I agreed with them to re-deliver the same order which they themselves suggested. After waiting for quite sometime, I get call from the restaurant only to be told that they are cancelling my order and they will refund the deducted amount. I didnt receive the refund of over 400rs till now. I raised the issue at the app twice also, and then called the restaurant also after waiting for a day thinking that I taked time to process the refund sometime, they took my details to check the order and told that they will call back but after that I am only waiting for that call and my refund also. Additionally, the same order in my app is showing status as delivered not cancelled.
I had to place a new order with Swiggy after resturant told that they cancelled the order, even then I had to wait for about an hour to receive the same as first even though the tracking page was showing order was dispatched but delivery guy didn't moved for half an hour after which I called him to which he told he is on the way, post this call only he started moving.
So, overall the service of the restaurant is pathetic, they don't respond to customers honestly, which raises a serious issue on their work ethics. I had one of my worst dining experiences at this Domino’s outlet. I placed my order around 8:10 PM and requested a wash basin, only to be told it was on the first floor. After returning to the customer area on the ground floor to wait for my food, I quickly noticed a significant mosquito problem.
I immediately informed a staff member, who acknowledged the issue but took no action. A few minutes later, when my food arrived, I continued to feel mosquitoes biting me. I brought it up with another staff member, who again responded with indifference and walked away. Shockingly, I later noticed some staff members inside the kitchen laughing about the issue, even making gestures suggesting that I simply shoo the mosquitoes away. When they saw me looking, they quickly retreated.
Unable to tolerate the bites any longer, I asked to speak with the Store Manager. When he arrived, I requested him to sit near me for a minute and experience the discomfort firsthand. His response was dismissive—he casually stated that they would address the mosquito problem only after I left. This was unacceptable. I asked if he genuinely believed it was okay for a customer to endure mosquito bites in a restaurant that should prioritize hygiene and cleanliness.
Sadly, the attitude of the staff made it clear that they are more focused on receiving appreciation than addressing genuine customer concerns. In an era where home deliveries and OTT entertainment are reducing footfall in retail outlets, neglecting hygiene, cleanliness, and customer experience will only drive more people toward online alternatives.
I sincerely hope Domino’s takes immediate steps to improve its hygiene standards and staff training. Otherwise, it risks losing customer trust...
Read moreFirst the billing counter was manned by one no two wait, one managing two systems. Yes I had no clue who was serving the customers as the guy in front of me was suddenly served by the next kiosk while in front of that a gentleman was already standing.
While we were told it would take 15-20 mins for the Pizzas to be delivered we opined it was more than 30 mins before we got them.
What I don't like with Domino's is that they give the entire order in one go. Pizzas and anything cheese, is supposed to be had hot. So by the time we get to the last few items they have turned cold and unpalatable. Domino's....you need to find a better way to serve.
Today the filling inside the Zingy Parcel (Veg) was so meagre that it was like eating rubber. A complaint elicited cold response with no apology.
Lastly, they have a huge screen on the first floor. With the crucial CSK vs. RCB match being played today, my son requested that they play the match in that. Even I requested. This was flatly refused. I see no reason to play the same Domino's ad again and again and waste so much electricity when no one even steals a glance at that screen. Might as well have played the important match and won their customers' hearts.
Aah...in all these did I mention they missed a Garlic Bread and even tried to argue it was not ordered? Well then there is it then....
