Glen's Bakehouse — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Glen's, and I must say that it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, with Richard leading the charge. His attentive and personable nature truly set the tone for an incredible dining experience.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the mouthwatering chicken fries. Each piece was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. The crispy exterior gave way to succulent, flavorful chicken that left me craving more. The dish was accompanied by a selection of delightful dipping sauces, which added an extra burst of flavor and complemented the chicken fries perfectly.

To top off this memorable meal, I indulged in the cute mini cupcake tarts, which were an absolute treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. My actual rating of Glen's Bakehouse would be 4.5 . I loved their Bakehouse. It was really attractive and very well lit. The ambiance was truly beautiful. There are enough people to attend to the continuous customers who keep strolling in.

This bakehouse is set on two levels. The restaurant is set on the first floor and has about 10 to 12 tables. The bakery is on the ground floor along with a restaurant . The interior and ambience is nice and comfortable. I must say that I fell in love with their floor tiles the moment I saw it. The Air-conditioning and lighting was nice inspite of the hot searing temperature outside. Most of the tables are set in the 2 or 4 seater settings but I requested seating for 6 people and the staffs were very helpful and did it without much ado. I was happy that they were pretty friendly and helpful and always with a smile. Hats off to the management which can hold on to natural serve professionals who serve here.

We ordered for Chicken pesto Sandwitch, cheesy fries 🍟, Lamb pepperoni Pizza and Chicken Bacon Pizza. The Cheesy Fries were a disappointment. The Chicken Sandwich was a huge portion fit for 2 people. The Pepperoni Pizza was burnt on the edges but tasted decent, the Chicken Bacon Pizza was the best of our order. It was perfectly baked, the Chicken Bacon 🥓 was actually outstanding. I wanted to wash it down with a strong coffee but decided against it as it was late into the evening. I would say the pricing is on the expensive side but they were in a high profile neighborhood and must be paying astronomical rentals. So I reckon it ok because their service was very good.

The waiters must be given special mention for being nice, fast and friendly. They were giving good attention to our table without being overtly friendly. I would surely would love to recommend this place....

We came Multiple of times First week it was crowded so we took take away for getting table much people were waiting they don't even pack the cakes properly but food was better. The second and third weekend crowd was their but they have a Right man Umar(Manager)to manage things up , but food was getting delayed and and some staffs behavior was rude. When we informed them the manager said definitely will action upon them. After some couple of weeks bit changes in staffs behavior we thought management has given warning to them. We thank everytime to their Manager umar to taken care of us and everyone. And last this couple of weeks some of their staffs ran in between while taking orders and said their are facing some billing problems. Then also their key man umar stood up and handled crowd like perfect gentlemen. We understand the billing issue and food was delayed. From this past weeks Food is not as good as past few weeks soups tastes like hot water was much thicker in past time and taste was good. But in couple of weeks their soups becoming coloured hot water. Pizzas are getting delayed in peak time upto more than an hour . Everytime we addresses an issue their main man umar arrives and solves things. The only things why is so much problem here in each and everytime, if services is bad ok we understand some staffs are not mature as enough as others. Food delayed is understandable. But bad Food taste is unacceptable. Pastries , starter are goto only if you have patience for 20-45 minutes try pizzas it's worth waiting for it. But soups day by day are...
