Libarrel — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Libarrel : meaning open to new ideas, the name perfectly goes with the newly opened resto bar in Mylapore. It's a 3 floor building with a sports themed restaurant, a proper resto bar and a rooftop lounge as well. This place has my heart. We had a wide range of starters were each and every dish is to be specially mentioned for it's consistency, flavour, taste and it's presentation.

"PAELLA ARANCINNI" They are spanish starters that are rice balls stuffed with minced vegetables and are fried until crisp and golden on the outside. It was cooked to perfection and presented in such a way that made me drool for it.

"DUKKAH KE PANEER" It was just amazinggg to every bite I had with it's tangy and juicy flavour. The paneer was also well cooked and very very tender and soft.

"LAND PULLED PORK MELTS" It was one of the best pork dishes I've had. The pork is so juicy and you can taste it's essence in your tongue when you take every bite of this delicious treat. If you're a pork lover, this is a dish that you CANNOT miss!

"ARABIC MEZZE PLATTER" All that I can say is it's one of my favorites from this place. I haven't tried much of Mezze platter but the moment I had it here, I wanted to explore a lot of it.

"MUSHROOM KRATHRAMPHIR" I ain't a person who liked mushroom that much but this place proved me wrong and made me indulge in love with it.

"CHEESE TIKKA" All that you have to know is it's highly cheeeesyyyy and highly recommended one from my side.

The chickenfry, beef fry, era molagu was cooked so well and presented in such a way that you have no comments over it other than filling it in your tummy and drooling over it all over again.

Coming to their Main course, I loved their pizzassssss. It was so crisp and handcrafted so well and rightly served hot and made me crave for it badlyyyy. The chicken bryani was just my bae. And the chilli chicken was yum yum and that's it. The noodles, fried rice and cauliflower hot garlic were made in such a way that I was too full and didn't have the space to have any desserts.

Coming to my favorite part of all, the cocktails. Damnnnnn, one of the best! It's definitely going to be my regular go to place for it. "OLD HAT" I would definitely without a second thought will claim it as my favorite cocktails I've ever had. "PINA COLADA" Having tried it in quite a few places, I didn't find it any special but loved it. "EXPRESSO MARTINI" I never knew a coffee based cocktail would taste this good. When they suggested me for it, trsut me I expected it to be bitter and not my type. But I was wrong, it was just mind blowing. Also "WAKE UP and "PUNK" were extremely great and all that I had was great food with great cocktails. My only regret was that I couldn't try their desserts as my tummy didn't have a space for it. Will definitely make it soon there to try them too. Be it the service, presentation, food, cocktails,worth for the money , it was top notch and I would personally recommend the cocktail lovers to try them. You'll never be dissapointed and...

😋😋 Three floors and three different themes - define this restro bar. First floor is sports themed restaurant. (kids allowed). Second floor is barrel themed bar with DJ music. Third floor is rooftop bar.

We went as a family and took our seats on the first floor in the sports themed restaurant.

Location - this is located in street opposite to yellow pages in RK Salai, mylapore.

Parking - parking is available in front of the restro bar and also valet parking is available.

Ambience - awesome indoor Ambience in first and second floor. In first floor the walls are adorned with sportspersons animations and there's a special corner for CSK images. The second floor ambience is perfectly dim to give u the pub experience. Third floor is the best of all. With its rooftop view and enticing water fountains, its the perfect place to have ur drinks and food.

Food - their menu is full of fusion dishes. And the chef mahendran was very enthusiastic in explaining the dishes.

to everyone's surprise,, they got the best combo offers in that area. Each day they give one combo. And on Wednesday we tried the tandoori combo. The tandoori combo includes three types of kebabs, one small bowl of pulav, one black daal curry, naan , dessert, and a mocktail / beer. All for just 299rs. Killer deal 😊👌

Other items we tried are paella Arancini - Spanish dish filled with veggies and rice. Very yummy. Their Syrian beef fry is one of the best in chennai. Well cooked tender beef.👌👌 Era molagu - prawns dish covered with curry leaves and pepper. Didn't turn out to the best here. Mummified prawn - not a favourite of mine. Prawns inside bandages and deep fried. Tasted like pakoda with prawn inside. But the prawn tasted damp without flavour. Arabic mezze platter - the vegetarian appetizer with three different dips - tasted so good. Karvari chicken fry - tasted so soft and Fried like kfc chicken. Another must try dish here. Each dish was presented very beautifully

In main course - they have mutton briyani and chicken briyani in Bamboo style.. The briyani is Hyderabadi styled and tasted well on mixing well.. If you love Hyderabadi dum briyani, you should definitely try this.

Desserts - we ordered coconut souffle - comes as a combo with coconut payasam and coconut cookie. Presented and tasted well Death by chocolate is the dark and thick chocolate brownie with ice cream. Gulabo is a fusion dish with baked gulab jamun Finally tiramisu served with black coffee - delicious.

Drinks - their mocktails and drinks were equally good too.

Service - was good and quick. Since its a restro bar, the waiters were always available near us to attend.

pricing - it's very reasonable and cheaper for a restro bar
