The ambience and the mood of the space was really nice, we were assigned a table which was well secluded and more private compared to other tables which I liked.
There were so many new boardgames which we've never seen before, we were assigned with someone who was guiding us throughout (teaching us how to play the game), it was really fun and my kid loved to play and eat at the same time. The price for 1 person/per hour during weekdays and weekend is 100 bucks & 150 respectively.
We ordered, Loaded fries - which had sauce and veggies loaded on top of it, the fries were crispy throughout ! 5/5
Misto pasta - A combination of red and white sauce, apart from the olives the taste was really good 4.8/5
Spicy mushroom pizza - the base was really really thin but it was tasty in a way, it went very well with the house made tomato sauce which they served ! 4.6/5
Pesto pasta - the pesto flavour wasn't really through, i could only taste spinach and cream with not much seasoning 3/5
Alfredo pasta - this also had the same issue, there was a lack of flavour, it was just cream and salt (I would have liked if it had more Italian seasonings) 3.5/5
Rosemilk - It was delicious ! 5/5
Spicy hot chocolate - the spice and the cinnamon was really through the hot chocolate, felt like Christmas in a cup. 5/5
Chocolate banana waffle - it was served with chocolate waffle and ice cream with caramelized banana, 4.9/5
Overall it was a good and different hangout spot for my family and kids, people who would play big games would enjoy it much better as it matches their level of understanding ! A good spot for people who enjoy playing board games as there are many...
Read moreThis Two Floor Gaming place is one of the best hang out spot to play hundreds of different board games with your friends all day long. Not just monopoly or business, there are a wide range of games (I played Ticket to Ride-Europe and Splendor)for having fun for all age groups, all moods and all types of people. If you don't know the rules, don't worry. The people who run this place will guide you through all the different games, teach you the rules, set up the game for you and patiently clarify any doubts you have. 😂
A little bit noisy, but who will not shout if you win games against your friends and family and are having a good time ♥
TARIFF for Gaming - Weekdays Rs 250 for 1 person (2 hours and above ) Also you will get Rs 50 discount if you order food for Rs 200 or above. The bigger the group, the more options of board games.
If you are not into the board games, you can just have a peaceful meal downstairs coz all the Fun happens in the first floor of this Cafe.
FOOD- Only Vegetarian. This is one of the few places where you get real delicious ice tea instead of the ready mix version. I ordered Thai Ice Tea (Rs 150)and Cold Coffee (Rs 150). The variety of food in this place is limited to just Pastas, Sandwiches,Rice Bowl and Bruschetta with limited options in each category. Though the limited option might be slightly annoying for all the Foodies out there, the Taste was amazing. The Misto Pasta for Rs 220 was scrumptious.
SERVICE- Friendly staff, Not much delay in serving the order. Excellent.
AMBIENCE - Apt for playing board games. Lift Facility is available. Two wheeler parking not an issue but Car Parking is a...
Read moreVisited this place on a Thursday, unaware that it was a government holiday. Being charged weekend gaming hourly rates of ₹150 per hour per person, despite the sparse crowd, was disappointing. It would have been appreciated if charges were adjusted to weekday rates of ₹100 per hour per person. Gaming hourly rates mentioned here for both weekdays as well as weekends are excluding GST!
The venue boasts an impressive collection of over 1,000 board games. However, the game 'Labyrinth' we tried was uninspiring, even for children. Strongly advise against it. According to the staff, their most popular game is 'Splendor,' a game they host annual tournaments for. It's family-friendly and highly recommended over 'Labyrinth.'
The food menu offers a variety of options, including pizzas. Tried the vegetarian pizzas, which came in a 12-inch thin crust. They were delicious, but the steep prices of ₹420 and ₹380 respectively, excluding GST, felt excessive.
One notable inconvenience was the limited parking availability. The venue has only one parking slot for cars, forcing other vehicles to rely on street parking through the valet service. This arrangement can be risky at times.
Additionally, they offer co-working space, available between 10 AM and 6 PM, at a charge of ₹350 per day.
In summary, "The Board Room" could be an excellent choice for corporate team-building activities if budget constraints are not a concern. With potential adjustments to pricing and parking availability, it could further enhance the overall experience for...
