Thank you owner for taking the time to reply even though it's not quite pleasing to read. I'm writing this one last time just for clarification and NOT for any harassment. The very fact i kept writing earlier too, i wanted to draw your attention and hopeful to get a call or message from you,not that i was finding any pleasure out of this. I'm a foodie and i belong to the service industry and handling VVIP clients and bosses. Hence i'm used to impeccable service and going that extra mile. You are content with your staff's service and hospitality but one man's meat is another man's poison. Considering that i have always stood my ground and mentioned that your desserts are delicious, i wanted that the service marks excellence too and spending 350 + on a slice of cake, as a customer i just expected a good piece which was not cut properly and as God as my witness i really wanted to put it on my insta page and google. I tried though to check if i get a good pic even though i asked fr an exchange. When i got the choc caramel choux, i did say this is really nice and clicked a pic and posted on my Instagram too and that 1 hr which u spoke about, i was non stop on the phone with my mother who lives alone in Mumbai.In between i was genuinely really upset and hurt that a man who places an order at 11.40 pm gets a good pizza but me walking in 5 mins after him and literally requesting and begging for something really small as i had no food at home since I have to keep traveling for work and i just got back to Chennai around 10 pm and thought to visit ur restaurant .But i really got angry when i saw the other customer getting his food at midnight and the chef was still around when i requested at 11.45pm.Anyway i left it to that and continued talking to my mother. At the time of billing i got to know of the chocs and ur staff must have briefed you(i don't want to get into it) and harass you.However i left coz it was taking too long and i was alone in the store with no other customer or lady staff. Everything according to me had gone wrong and i was overly frustrated. Maam/Sir, i did want to pay and that's why i left at that time but posted everything on insta and google for your attention ONLY. I thought i will receive a call from you considering i wanted to talk over the phone and not go public but ur staff didn't give me ur no. I have been to many good restaurants in India and all over the world especially when it comes to desserts and if there is any issue i have received a call from the owner or if im staying in a 5 star property from the GM or the Director to understand the situation and if need be any service recovery. In this case even though there is no need for service recovery coz you feel your staff and service is good and I'm at fault, atleast i was hopeful that you will give me a chance to explain this outburst. Anyway like we both don't wish to have each other around maison indulgence, i would really appreciate if your team can DM me or send me the QR code on my phone or i can come to the restaurant parking lot and pay outside at a more suitable hr coz i had and have every intention to pay and not runaway else i wouldn't have posted with my actual name. Last but not the least, my visit for the 1st time, was absolutely unbiased and didn't judge anyone and just observed. I spoke with Harsha,smiling asking for the discount since i saw a 20% discount on ZOMATO or dineout.It was my way of breaking the ice and i just laughed it out & not serious and just checked on the service charge at the time of billing. I had the choc indulgence & mozzarella croquettes and even complimented.Later i even spoke to the 2 girls who were sitting on the table next to me and spoke good about the desserts.I wasn't totally happy with the staff efficiency especially the 1 who is normally near the coffee machine but i didn't want to judge someone for the very 1st time. Read moreOverhyped. Bad service. Extremely overpriced. Complete Disappointment. The cake was served in a paper plate, which was nearly 600₹ with tax. The Pizza was horrible, biscuit like base and very small. Espresso was watery and very bitter. Toffee dessert was average at best. Valet took a very long time to get the car. The front of the store had a strong smell of Chlorine and excessive chlorine powder which the valet managed to get inside the car as well. The waiter was rude and had no patience to explain the desserts. The service is not on par with the prices they charge. The proprietors should seriously look into this and maybe go to recently opened Elba Trading Company for a valuable lesson on service, quality and attention to detail. I do not recommend anyone to go here.
EDIT (22.1.23) - Thank you for your response. But, Your attempt at addressing my concerns falls woefully short. It's infuriating to witness a litany of issues at your establishment, and your feeble attempts to justify them with excuses are nothing but an insult to customers' intelligence. Firstly, blaming a drain blockage for serving signature desserts on paper plates is not only absurd but downright unprofessional. If you were facing a sanitation problem, a responsible business would have temporarily closed until it was resolved, not compromise on basic hygiene standards. Your lack of foresight and negligence ruined the dining experience for my friends and me. The explanation about the focaccia-based pizzas being intentionally crispy by design doesn't excuse the fact that they were unpalatable. If a certain cooking style is not well-received, it might be worth reconsidering. A dismissive attitude towards legitimate critiques reflects poorly on your commitment to customer satisfaction. You have ignored the suggestion about your staff’s attitude and service. Your suggestion to email about the valet experience is just another attempt to divert responsibility. External vendors or not, their service reflects on your establishment. Passing the buck to the agency demonstrates a lack of accountability on your part. Furthermore, your plea for kindness and understanding is misplaced. Customers should not be expected to endure a subpar experience and then be lectured on being "kinder." Your business, like any other, should be held to a standard, and if it fails to meet that standard, it deserves criticism. Your response has done little to instill confidence in your commitment to improvement. A customer's trust is earned through consistent quality and service, not through defensive justifications. Food: Overall we enjoyed every bit of food that we had ordered. It was a fun day for our palettes and a wonderful experience.
1.Signature Chocolate Indulgence: The Triple Chocolate cake which is again covered with three chocolate it is just one amazing masterpiece. Just Melts in Your Mouth . You could feel the richness of the chocolate in every bite. Tiramisu: An amazing tiramisu with a twist of hazelnuts and hazelnut sauce poured over it Hot Chocolate: A Classic THICCCCC Hot Chocolate. Definitely a must try Truffle Mushroom Danish: Again a well done danish crafted to perfection . Both the base and filling are amazing. Chocolate Eclair: The amount of flavouring/filling was good and the presentation was excellent. Americano: This was ordered to serve the purpose of a palette neutraliser, which it did very well. P.S: Though their menu states only the signatures, their display counter will give you some great additional dessert options to choose from!
Ambience: The place is a beautiful cafe setup with wonderful interiors. They also have a nice outdoor seating facility. Very 'Instagrammy' interiors if you are looking for such a place. The place can accommodate small to huge groups comfortably.
Value for money: The place is priced reasonably with the quality of ingredients they use. Having said that, the place does serve some really good food.
Service & Staff: The staff here are great and very accommodating.
