Ambience is instagrammable!! Food lacked flavour. Ordered the Curry Pizza (on the menu- it was with curry tikka sauce with chicken tikka (they dont grill their chicken, it may be oven roasted or boiled, peppers, onion, coriander garnish) What we got served lacked the tikka sauce, 11 inch pizza without the base sauce or may be it was barely there. (Costs 675) pizza base was okayish as well, it tasted like sourdough but Iâve had much better sourdough pizzas. They could definitely work a bit on the base to hydrate the base more. Took home some desserts like tiramisu, caramel jar cake, triple chocolate jar. (Cake was just a half inch layer at the bottom) Mozzarella sticks were bit too dry and wasnât oozing cheese, cheese was kinda hard, however the crust was nicely cooked. Sprinkled masala was spicy for my taste. Overall, itâs a good hangout spot for meet-ups , food can be made better and the servers definitely need to work on understanding the menu. When I asked whatâs the pizza base and if itâs sourdough, he mentioned itâs tomato sauce base (clearly wasnât aware of what...
Read moreWe recently visited Nolita as a group of five, hoping to enjoy a good meal, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying.
We ordered a Margherita pizza, a chicken pizza, peri-peri chicken, BBQ steak (beef), and fried chicken wings ⢠The pizza was just okay - nothing remarkable, but not terrible either. ⢠The BBQ beef steak was a major letdown. It had a strong, off-putting smell, almost as if the meat had been fried in fish oil. Completely unappetizing. ⢠The fried chicken wings was even worse. The batter didnât stick to the chicken at all, and the meat itself felt like it had been pulled straight out of the fridge and dunked into the fryer without proper preparation. It was bland, tasteless, and extremely disappointing.
Given the high pricing, we expected much better quality, but the food simply did not deliver.
Overall, our experience at Nolita Diner was frustrating. The food quality needs serious improvement, especially for the price they charge.
Would not recommend unless they make drastic...
Read moreNolita Dineout, located underground near KNK Road in Nungambakkam, is easy to find and offers ample parking for both cars and bikes. The restaurant is moderately sized, seating around 25 people comfortably.
The highlight of our meal was the Funghi Pizzaâa standout dish featuring a wood-fired thin crust. The balance of sauce, toppings, and cheese was just right. However, the cheese sticks were a bit underwhelming; the cheese inside didnât melt properly, so they werenât as enjoyable as expected.
On the other hand, the chicken wings were deliciously saucy, and the beef Bolognese pasta was well-prepared with rich flavor. The loaded cheese fries were particularly impressiveâsoft, crunchy, and perfectly soaked in cheese and sauce.
Unfortunately, the mojito we ordered didnât hit the mark and had to be returned. Overall, Nolita Dineout is a great spot to relax with friends, family, or as a couple, especially if youâre a fan of Italian cuisine, with their pizza and pasta being the...
