Pink Potato - Poes Garden — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It was a team dinner request. Have to accomodate dinner for almost 28 to 30 people in office. The request was continental from the team. One of the best conti spot in my office's vicinity is Jonah's Bistro. Hand down. Mr. Durai murugan is the manager in this branch. Getting food ready for 30 people with each having their own selection of dish is not easy. The head of chef and Durai sat with each other planned, named the food package so that we don't miss any dish.

Order included pastas to steaks to Raman noodles to several starters and main courses. Loved their steak with mushroom sauce, crispy lotus stem and hot and crispy beef.

Burger was not seasoned well with salt. Rest everything else was good.

Recommendation - Better enjoy conti food in restaurant than getting it take away. The fresh food from the kitchen to the table top make it perfect. Hospitality was top notch by Mr.Durai and his team. . Managed to attend the office meeting while the food was being prepared from restaurant itself. Chef really pushed the limit to get all the dishes ready.

Honorable mention - they gave us 3 brilliant tiramisu including coconut pudding as a complimentary which was really good.

Jonah's has been my favourite restaurant that I'd suggest someone or prefer for myself when wanted to have delicious food with decent ambience. I spent my birthday lunch with 5 other friends here. The ambience was pretty good and calm. Dishes tried; Honey garlic chicken Soft and juicy chunks of chicken soaked in a delicious honey garlic sauce which had a mixture of sweet and spicy flavour. I honestly had no idea that this starter would taste amazing 😍♥️ _

Cheese and mushroom balls The outer layer was crispy with a filling ofcheese and mushroom which was too good. _ Nacho cheese Crispy nachos loaded with cheddar, nacho sauce, tomato salsa and sour cream. I rarely prefer veg starters in any restaurant, but both the starters from Jonah's was totally delicious. And for the main course,

Mac and cheese pizza I was quite excited for trying this, but wasn't satisfied much, it was very average in taste, Mac and cheese was little bland I felt. Thai chicken curry was really scrumptious. Smoked chilli rice(veg) was pretty good and had a mild spicy flavour, the gravy and rice are served...

Jonah's bistro at alwarpet is quite a big restaurant with sufficient seating capacity. No worries about the parking space, the road itself is safe to park.

Seating is very comfortable and the ambience looks excellent with good lighting. You have TVs running videos/matches.

We ordered,

Crispy pepper beef - excellent taste. Beef lovers should try it here once. Must try.

Crispy sesame chicken - We had the wow factor for every bite. The honey literally dripped out of chicken, such a luxurious coating it had. Must try.

Masala omelette - English type omelette. Not spicy, but the flavour were intact. Along with omelette we got some mushroom coated with masala and Toasted bread with butter. I kinda liked the presentation.

Chicken noodles - with basil leaves, was done well. Taste better when hot.

Waffle - #my latest addiction :) waffle were spongy with 2 syrups (maple & chocolate. Seriously maple took over chocolate. It would have been better if we got 4 pieces for the price range. Must try.

Watermelon mojito - nothing special but a good one.

Highly infectiously food. Must try for young crowd...
