Let us share our experience today, 1st Jan 2024. My wife and I went to this place with a pre booked slot for 0115pm and we reached there around 0145pm. I was served by one Mr Rajesh. I asked him for pitcher beer and he said it's not available and he suggested glass of 500ml and said the cost is the same. We ordered a glass of beer and a Cosmo cocktail and a few sides. When we were having our drinks, I saw Pitcher been served to one of the tables a couple of times. I called Rajesh and asked him as to why he said Pitcher was not available and he said will check and get back and never got back. I called another gentleman and asked him the same, for which he apologized and conveyed the same to his manager. The manager by name Karthik reached out and asked us what happened pretending as though he didn't know anything. I asked him if his co-worker has not explained him anything? He said please listen to me and this was his explanation.." There is a family of about ten plus including kids and they have blocked all the pitchers and in addition they are Sin and Tonic's customers for three plus years" I was really shocked with his reply and taken back. After all this, I leave it to you to decide whether their approach is right or wrong. Looks like Sin and Tonic doesn't want any new customers and they are happy to do business with their existing customers. Our suggestion is if you are reserving a table with S&T, please ensure whatever you are planning to drink/eat are available to serve you since they are capable of saying those are booked for their existing customers and they can't serve you. Since we don't want to spoil our first day of the year 2024, we just settled our bill and came back home. It's our sin we went to Sin and...
Β Β Β Read moreWith decent expectation and not going by the reviews entered early on a Wednesday evening. Groupf of 10 we wanted to get a bottle but the staff had no clarity about the offer or even the actual price as per card without offer. Bottle we asked for would b either not available or he would go and check. Also, the price was changed all three times when we asked for one specific brand and complimentary added on was offered but backed out when we were about to order. Skipping this circus game we didn't wanna lose more time and each of us other separately.
Starters ordered were fine but not justifying the quantity plus took a lot of time. At a point we were least bothered about the service and kept ordering drinks and food irrespective of how much time it took ( probably that's what they expect too).
Live music was the only part which was good and again even after repeated polite requests, suggestion was even acknowledged by the band (not in management's control but they hired them, so it would matter to some people)
Dance a little but will b asked to sit at your table if found having too much fun.
The half star on service is only for the kind bouncer who was decent enough to come and tell us at the table to lower the volume or sing along

Β Β Β Read moreWhile checking for table availability on 31st Dec for dinner service, we were told it was a direct walk in and the service includes unlimited food and alcohol given the new year celebration.
When we reached the place, no table was available, we then checked with the waiter about it & informed that we called up earlier. They then said that they didn't promise for a table, it should be first come first serve basis (which wasn't told to us). But luckily the waiter got us a table within 5 min.
Guest handling/communication could have been better via call during the booking as well as at the entry point
After settling down, I started hunting for food.. 7 starters (4 non veg & 3 veg) were provided via buffet. Podi idli with kaara chutney tasted great but other starters were just okay. The main course was neither displayed nor the menu card was given.
Coming to the unlimited alcohol service, I personally relaxed my policy of no-alcohol considering 31st dec plus me crossing 30s and went for a trial. To my shock, the so called alcohol served in the glass was 80% juice and 20% alcohol. After having two glasses of it, only my glucose level went high and not me π I didn't even feel a thing.
For this experience I had to pay 2500 per person!
In short, "Sin & Tonic", tonic ah uthi kuduthu 31st Dec annaiku sin...
